Mr. Stoyanov clarified that they are taking out some of the paving and they will be enlarging <br />the parking lot. In reference to the fence, Law Director Gareau explained the a few years back, a <br />fence was required between two commercial properties since one was being used as residenrial. <br />About a year later, the residents sold the house for commerciaL Mr. Purper stated that there will be <br />160 feet between the driveways with the new plans, and he would not want a fence on Lorain Road. <br />This board cannot require a fence. Mr. Koberna wondered how many of Ganley's customer's cars <br />parked in their lot. Mr. Maloney advised Mrs. Jung to post signs that this is their parking lot and <br />violators will be towed. It was clarified for Mr. Maloney that the green area shown on the plans had <br />been changed according to the planning commission's recommendations. <br />W. Purper moved to grant the request of Ganley BMW, 25600 Lorain Road, for the following <br />variances to construct building addition with site improvements, landscaping and building <br />renovations: a 46' 8" front set back variance and a variance to display vehicles in the 75' front <br />setback. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1139.07. Also to grant a special permit to add to non- <br />conforming building pursuant to council accepting or rejecting special permit within 30 days. <br />Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b). The motiom was seconded T. Kobema, <br />and unanimously approved. Variances and special permit granted. <br />9. George Budzinski, 6013 South Porter Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). <br />Request the following variances to construct a porch enclosure: a 5 foot variance for distance from <br />existing detached garage and a 14 foot rear setback variance. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section(s) <br />1135.02 (c) and 1135.08(a). Also request special permit (1123.11) for the eulargement of a non- <br />conforming dwelling. Special Permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02 (b-1). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the boaxd. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Wagner, contractor, who explained that this would be an enclosed porch with no heat. Assistant <br />Building Commissioner Rymarczyk advised that there should be a condition of a fire wall on the wall of <br />the garage closest ta the porch since this is less than 15 feet from the garage. The members had no <br />problem with the request. <br />J.
