CI.TY QF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCH.ITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MTNUTES - JULY 16, 1986 <br />I. ROLL CALL; <br />Acting Chairman Ebin called the meeting ta order at 4:05 p.m. <br />Presentc J. Britton and S, Ebin <br />Absent: M. Case and D. Pattison <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner S. Spino, Councilman Lackey; and Clerk <br />of Commissions B. Oring. <br />IZ. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />S. Ebin moved to approve the Minutes of June 18, 1986 as submitted, <br />seconded by J. Britton, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />1) Meineke Discount Muffler Shops, Inc., east of Forest City Auto Parts <br />on the south side of Lorain Road. <br />Pole sign approved with b uilding plans. <br />2) Ponderosa, 25779 Lorain Road <br />Pole and wa11 signs approved with building plans. <br />3) Great Northern Dodge Truck Lot, 26075 Lorain Road <br />Wall sign and ground sign concept approved with building plans. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />1) Hennie Homes, property located west of John Knox Church (25200 Lorain Rd.) <br />and east of proposed relocated S.R.252 <br />Review of retaining wall and revised site p1an. (Disapproved at meeting <br />of June 18, 1986). <br />P. Zwick, engineer, and R. Puzzitiello, owner, explained that the archi- <br />tect had left the previous meet'ing because of illness. They presented <br />revised plan which has eliminated retaining wall; driveway (off Lorain <br />Road) is now shown on relocated S.R. 252 property (directly opposite the <br />center line of Great Northern B1vd); parking area adjacent to Lorain <br />Road has been moved west so that property can now be graded in order to <br />eliminate the retaining wa11;; two catch basins wi11 be installed in <br />front and rear of building, adjacent to east property line (some grad- <br />ing must be done on church property), Six foot high stained redwood <br />fence will be installed along the east property line from the rear of <br />the building and wi11 extend along the north property line. Mr. Zwick <br />assured the Board that the fence would be maintained every 4 to 5:years <br />as recommended by the manufacturer. Mr. Ebin questioned if light at <br />Great Northern and Lorain will be act.ivated on:the north side. The de- <br />veloper must take this up with the Safety Director. Members of the John <br />Knox Church,congregation questioned if this would be allowed by the
