Ebin, and unanimously approved. <br />Tenant sign will be presented later. <br />3) 29800 Office Park (A. Bender), 28900 Lorain Rd. <br />Ground sign (Building proposal heard March 19, 1986). <br />Building plans for the 28900 Office Park had shown the ground sign, <br />however,the Board had not mentioned the sign in their ap.proval. Board <br />has no problem with this sign. S. Ebin moved to approve the ground <br />sign made out of brick with black iron letters on both side.s and illumin- <br />ated by wash lights which are ground mounted at 28900 Lorain Rd. as <br />submitted on the plans, seconded by M. Case,, and unanimously approved. <br />4) Rad Air (C. Fazio), 24260 Lorain Rd. <br />Signs (with building plans). <br />Approved with building plans. <br />5) Fretters (G. Herschman), Sparky Lane and Brookpark Ext, <br />Signs (with building plans). <br />Approved with building plans. <br />6) Kenny King's (Applebrook Design), 27899 & 27915 Lorain Rd. <br />Signs (with building plans). <br />Approved with building plans. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESSs <br />Mr. Ebin again mentioned the ground sign on Plaza West shopping center, <br />which was approved for the Landspan Corporation with the stipulation that <br />all wiring to that sign be underground. Mr. Ebin stated that the ground <br />sign is still wired from overhead and it is still lighted at night. Mre <br />Ebin again requested that the Building Department have the sign discon- <br />nected until these wi:teare placed underground. The Building Department <br />has been in contact with the developer and he has promised to put the <br />wires underground. <br />Board discussed letter received from the Planning Commission and will <br />respond to it later. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1) Tony's Barber Shop (P. Engoglia), 4877 Dover Center Rd. <br />Proposal to construct an addition, <br />Mr. Engoglia, the builder, explained that all materials will match the <br />existing (oxford 11 brick veneer on block); windows will.be the same as <br />the existing but somewhat smaller to be in proportion with the addition. <br />They had planned to leave the cement block exposed on the side and rear <br />elevation; this is not permitted by code and board suggested they cover <br />with same brick as is planned on the front. Because addition is to be <br />built to the side property line, fire resistant lumber is required for <br />a portion of the new roof; board suggested that si.nce_this is such a`
