Violation
of Ord. 62-33, Section 1174.02.
Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath
was administered to Mr. Mathews of North Olmsted Datsun, Mrs. McLaughlin,
a neighbor, and Councilman Bierman. Chairman Remmel pointed out that
every other dealership displayed cars in the front set back area. Mr.
Mathews stated that he will maintain a 15' grass area adjacent to the
sidewalk. Mrs. McLaughlin stated that neatly parked display cars would
be better than`customer parking, and that they might deter.drivers from
using the parking lot at night. Mr. Mathews said that if he can park
cars in the front, he will be able to block the driveways in the evenings
so drivers don't cause a disturbance. Councilman Bierman objected to the
variance since it does not comply to the Zoning Codes and that the 50'
set back shouid be maintained. Law Director Gareau thinks that Council
should resolve this issue in view of the fact that all other dealerships
have variances. C. Remmel moved to grant the variance, seconded by R.
Bugala, and unanimously approved. Variance granted.
6. C. A. Mazzeo, Sr., 5169 East Park Dr.
Request for variance (1133.13).
