I., <br />-? -- _ - <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS JUNE 1, 1983 PAGE 2 <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to the Brennan Brothers and their mother. It <br />was explained that.neither lot would meet square foot area requirements; <br />frontage of second lot faces a private drive (there is an easement for <br />property involved). Building is on both lots (common wall between <br />two businesses) and would be non-conforming. Brothers would like to <br />buy rear portion which contains body shop from mother. Board has no <br />objection to proposed building plans, however lot split is not de- <br />sirable.? Front common drive would be eliminated. Law Director Gareau <br />stated that it was not necessary to have a physical lot split in order <br />? to accomplish what they want to accomplish, it could be handled legal- <br />ly other ways. C. Remmel moved to grant a special permit for a 22' <br />by 35° addition to a non-conforming building and a special permit for. <br />a 34' by 72' addition to ser.ve as a second floor above the Brennan <br />Auto Body shop with the understanding that the rear business will be <br />served by the easement to the west of the property, seconded by R. <br />Bugala, and unanimously approved. Special permits approved. <br />3. Frank Bott III, 5646 Porter Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). <br />variance for detached garage. V <br />and also request 6° variance for <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />4, 1983). <br />Request 2' sideya.rd and 2' rear yard <br />iolation of Ord. 62-33, Section1151.04C, <br />distance between house and garage. <br />1151.04Ca (4' variance denied May <br />Chairman Remmel called al1 interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Bott and G. Scott from Garage World. <br />This request is for what the Board had suggested last month. C. <br />v?JRemmel moved to grant the variance, seconded by R. Bugala, and unani-. <br />mously approved. Variances granted. <br />4. George M. Prok, 24826 Arlington Lane <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 12' rear yard variance for <br />patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />? oath was administered to Mr. Prok. Mr. Prok explained that this would <br />be a totally enclosed addition. E. Graves moved to grant the variance, <br />seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />5. Robert and Rose Smith, 4143 Fielding <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 10' rear yard variance for <br />patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />? oath was administered to Mr.iSmith. Their property backs up to a <br />basketball court. L. Horvatti:moved to grant the variance, seconded <br />by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />6. Christine Merline Holly, 26165 Kennedy Ridge Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.I3). Request front set back variance
