Brown moved to approve the Wendy's awning addition to the facade <br />of their restaurant at 26650 Lorain Rd. as presented, seconded by <br />B. Gorris, and unanimously approved. <br />5. Bryant Stratton Business School, 26700 Brookpark Ext. <br />Request permission to locate a detached building to temporarily serve <br />as a classroom. Building manufactured off site. <br />Mr. Anderson of Bryant Stratton explained that the temporary building <br />to be used as one classroom would be placed behind the existing <br />building (not in parking area). This will be used for six to nine <br />months while plans for addition are being formulated. The undercar- <br />riage will be skirted and electrical service wi11 be underground. <br />Restroom facilities will be in main building. Permit application <br />limits use for nine months only. This will be partially visible <br />from Brookpark Extension.. Assistant Law Director Dubelko stated <br />that there was nothing in the Zoning Code to prohibit use of this <br />type building. J. Buzns moved to approve the Bryant Stratton Busi- <br />ness School detached temporary building as applied for under a nine <br />month temporary permit as presented with the conditiion that the under- <br />carriage be skirted and that the electric utilities be placed under- <br />ground, Seconded by J. Wixted, and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NE.W. DEVELOPMENTS A,ND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />1. Flanagan Assembly Plat <br />-;•Combining of two (2) parcels, 232-10-59 and 232-10-60, located at the <br />northwest corner of the Lorain and Porter intersection. (Continued <br />£xQm the July 26, 1983 meeting). <br />'Dr. Flanagan explained that he was planning to combine both existing <br />. buildings on the Tot-s whzch are to be combined with a new structure; <br />the front portion of the building will be used as an orthopedic supply <br />store and the remainder will be used for medical office and a physio- <br />therapy laboratory. A vairance will have to be obtained prior to <br />submitting building plans to to Planning Commission for approval. <br />J. Roberts moved to approve the Flanagan Assembly Plat combining <br />two (2) parcels,.232-10-59 and 232-10-60, located at the northwest <br />corner of the Lorain and Porter Road intersection, seconded by T. <br />i Morgan, and unanimously approved. <br />, 2. Clague - Lorain Subdivision, located at the northeast corner of the <br />Lorain/Clague intersection (Sunoco Gas Station). Proposal is to sub- <br />? divide parcel 231-12-17 into two (2) sublots. Variance approved by <br />Board of Zoning Appeals on July 6, 1983. <br />- Assistant City Engineer advised that a variance had been granted for <br />square footage (less than 25,000 sq. ft. arid less than 150 ft. frontage) <br />: and no frontage on Lorain Rd. (fronts on Clague Rd.). Mr. Leo of <br />Mongello and Associates explained that the subdivision was made be- <br />cause the front part of the lot is leased to a Sunoco Station, and <br />they plan to build a professional office building on the Clague Rd.
