COMMiTNICATIONS : <br />Letter from Councilman Wilamosky stating that he had not re- <br />ceived letter requesting his attendance at the September 14th <br />meeting. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No Items <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Ord. 82-116::Councilman D. Woerpel advised that this is to be <br />included in the Zoning Codes to establish definitions, restrictions <br />and regulations for the Industrial Park District. <br />Ord. 82-124: Councilman Woerpel explained that this is to a- <br />mend the Sign Ordinance to simplify the approval procedures- <br />for repl.acement (face changes) bf square and rectangular signs. <br />The Commission would like mo.re time to study both Ordinances. T. <br />Morgan moved to table Ord. 82-116 and Ord. 82-124, seconded by <br />J. Brown, and unanimously approved.. <br />Councilwoman Y. Petrigac explained that she and a number of con- <br />cerned residents were present since they had been under the im- <br />pression that Mayor Swietyniowski was going to present the plans <br />for the City Complex. This proposal has been approved by Council, <br />and Mrs. Petrigac stated that she had assumed that the proposal <br />had been formally submitted to.Planning Commission. She has since <br />learned that there had been no formal presentation to Planning <br />Commission. (Mayor Swietyniowski did present-the plans informally <br />on April 27, 1982; however adjacent property owners had not been <br />notif ied). Both Councilman Woerpel and Mrs. Petrigac believe that, <br />according to the City Charter, this proposal should have been <br />reviewed by the Commission. The adjacent residents have many con- <br />cerns about the complex, especially the service yard and garage. <br />Mrs. Petrigac stated that as the Chairman of the Long Range Plan- <br />ning Commission, she and some of the residents had met with the <br />Mayor and certain changes had been agreed upon,hoSa.ever these <br />changes are not reflected in.the drawing that is being displayed. <br />She would like to request that the plans be reviewed and the <br />neighbors notified of the proposal. Chairman Gorris stated that <br />he would request a legal opinion as to whether or not, this pro- <br />posal should have been referred to the Commission: Assistant Law <br />Director J. Dubelko stated the the Law Director was more familar
