Also,-request variance for total sign area permitted.
Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1221.04.
Both cases heard together since they involve the same property and
owners. Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the
Board. The oath was administered. These signs are to be placed
on top of the Rent A Heep sign and each will be 32 sq. ft. for a
total of 64 sq. ft. and the Rent A Heep sign is 24 sq. ft; the
total signage would then be 88 sq. ft: (50 sq, ft. allowed by
Ordinance for a pole sign). Under the Ordinance these two bus-
inesses would have 26 sq. ft. for both signs. A variance for
total signage is also necessary since there will only be 3 sq. ft.
remaining.after their wall signs are subtracted from the total
signage allotted to the entire building. The Board_agreed that
26.sq. ft. would be sufficient to put their names'on the'pole -
sign to identify the business. C. Remmel moved to grant the
variance, seconded by R. Bugala.
