Mr. Rangrac was accompanied by his <br />adjacent neighbors who were in favor of the variance. Council- <br />woman J. Saringer stated that she had heard no objection to the <br />addition. Mr. Pangrac stated that there is a house 2 doors east <br />that has a similar addition. Mr. Bugala stated that this will <br />use up most of the rear yard area, and is actually an addition <br />to the house.. R. Bugala moved to grant the variance, seconded <br />by W. Wasniak. Request variance for second pole <br />sign on one lot, also, request variance to install pole sign on <br />Lorain Rd. with no.frontage on Lorain Rd. This sign presently shows above the <br />roof of the car wash and is to be moved.to the Lorain Rd. entrance. <br />It will not rotate as it does now. The car wash is in the rear of <br />. the property, and a doughnut shop and beverage store are on the <br />front. Both the beverage store and the doughnut shop have pole <br />signs. Building Commissioner E. Gundy stated that even though <br />, there is a property line dividing the property, the line runs <br />through the buildings and both segments are owned by one person, <br />this property must be considered as one piece of land and only <br />one pole sign is permitted under the new sign Ordinance. Mr. <br />Cygan of the doughnut shop objected to the sign and was under <br />the impression that it was on the adjacent property leased by <br />Big "0". R. Bugala moved to approve the Mr. Wash variance for <br />a second pole sign on Lorain Rd. and for a sign on Lorain Rd. <br />with'no frontage on Lorain, seconded by C. Remmel.
