?
.?
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MAY 6; 1981 PAGE 2
these variances were granted, they would pertain only to this
property owner, not any subsequentt owners, and that Mr. Polomsky
would still be limited to a 400 sq. ft. private greenhouse. The
appellant stated that he only sells plants for a few weeks of
the year, and requested to ammend his application to read
"to operate the greenhouse for commercial purposes from April 15
to June 15 only. The neighbors had no objections to this specific
use. Mr. M. Conway, the neighbor to the north, has given him
permission to use his drive to keep the traffic off Canterbury Rd.
M. Gareau stated that Mr. Polomsky must conform to signage per-
mitted in a residential neighborhood and that no semi-trailers
etc. would be permitted on the premises. D. Ledvina moved to
grant tYee variances to allow the operation of the greenhouse
from April 15 to June 15 with the condition that it does not
accrue any other benefits under the code such as signage, etc.,
and Mr. Polomsky must conform to all other requirements of a
residential district. The above variances pertain only to Mr.
Polomsky while he resides therein. If a a later date this
Board determines that this use has been expanded to be non-
compatible to the Board, the Board reserves the right to revoke
this conditional variance. This variance applys only to the
products grown on the premises and that 1 4 sq. ft. sign as
allowed in the Ordinance can only be displayed for the two
month period as stated above, seconded by C. Remmel, and unan-
imously approved. Variances granted.
4. George Anders, 29680 Lorain Rd.
Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance for location of
tool shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04D and also,
request 40 sq. ft. variance for tool shed. Violation of Ord.
62-33, Section 1151.04D.
Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board.
The oath was administered. It was explained that this lot is
700' deep and is adjacent to the commercial building next door.
Mr. Anders was not aware that he needed a permit. A communi-
cation from the Metro Parks, whose property is to the rear,
stated that they had no objection to the location of the shed.
W. Wasniak moved to grant the variance, seconded by L. Horvath,
and unanimously approved. Variances granted.
5. Alan Wagner, 2841 Clague Rd: _
Request for variance (1133.13).
