(Approved with <br />building plans). <br />(b) North Olmsted Carriage Shop (R. Mongello, 5034 Dover Center Rd. <br />Mr. R. Mongello and Mr. W. Rooney, owner, explained the plans <br />for the addition and renovation of the existing building. The <br />addition will be drivit covered and the stone of the existing <br />will be painted to match. The Board felt that the front parking <br />area should be redesigned so that cars do not over-hang the <br />sidewalk, thus eliminating a dangerous situation. A fence on the <br />north property line would provide screening for the adjoining <br />property. M. Case moved to approve the plans with the provision <br />that a 5' solid fence on the north property line from the new <br />addition to the rear property line be included, 2. stripe off <br />approximately 2' of the pavement just west of the sidewalk to in- <br />dicate no parking of vehicles over the sidewalk in front of the <br />building, seconded by D. Williams, and unanimously approved. <br />(c) Bryant & Stratton Business School, Brookpark Rd. Extension. <br />Mr. Hatters of Ray Fogg Building Methods and Mr. Anderson of <br />Bryant Stratton explained the plans. The subdivision of land <br />and driveway easement are being worked out now. Parking will <br />be adequate expecially noting that Gold Circle's peak shopping <br />times are on weekends when the school is not open and in the <br />, evening when there will be fewer classes. D. Williams moved to <br />approve the plans as presented with the exception that the plant- <br />ing plan be redone and resubmitte3.,that the sidewalk (6' minimum <br />width) be placed along each parking lot side on the South and <br />West and that tlie sidewalks to the main walks be 6' and that there <br />be handicapped ramps,, and that windows along the rear of the <br />building be security type windows, possibly unbreakable lexon, <br />seconded by M. Case. Roll call on motion: Williams, Case, and <br />Parr.y, aye. C. Petroski abstained explaining that the plans were <br />drawn by a professional Engineer and there is no Architectural <br />Stamp on the plans. D. Williams moved to reconsider the last motion, <br />seconded by Case, and unanimously approved. M. Case moved to ap- <br />prove the plans as originally moved, seconded by R..Parry. Roll <br />call on motion: Case and Parry, aye, Petroski and Williams <br />abstained. <br />C. Petroski was excused at 8:15'p.m. <br />(d) D. J. Glass Co., 27753 Lorain Rd. <br />Mr. Parry observed that the pump islands which remain from the <br />former gas station were dangerous and should be removed. <br />R. Parry moved to approve the D. J. Glass Addition with the <br />following recommendations 1) that the two pump islands be either <br />removed or finished to the existing grade or the the area be <br />repaved so that the top of the isla:nd is even with driveway and
