Roberts moved to <br />` refer the Tuff Kote Rustproofing proposal to the Architectural <br />Board of Review. Mr. Gorris questioned why this should be <br />referred to the Architectural Board of Review. Roll Call on <br />Motion: Roberts; Perla, Morgan, Brown, and Bugala, aye. <br />Gorris, Nay. ' <br />(h) Jamestown Apartments, Phase 7, (David Margolius), Columbia <br />and Brookpark Roads. <br />D. Margolius represented Jamestown Apartments. Building <br />Commissioner E. Gundy explained that this is proposed.for <br />the north east corner of Brookpark and Columbia Roads and <br />meets all code requirements for the Multiple family zoning. <br />The buildings will be the same as the existing apartments. <br />The subdivision of land necessary.for this development will <br />be heard later in the meeting. •• <br />R. Perla moved to refer the Jamestown Apartment proposal to <br />the Architectu-ral Board of Review, seconded by B. Gorris, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />(1) Federated Department Stores Subdivision - North side of Brook- <br />park Road Extension (Gold Circle, west side). Tao (2) sublots <br />from existing Parcel 232-25-35. Subdivision required for <br />vrooosed Bryant and Stratton Business School. <br />' A.pproved under BUILDING-DEPARTMENT REQUESTS;- ITEM (c) . <br />(2)' Vienna Wobds Subdivision No..2,'Preiiminary Plan - Located' east*of Walter-.Road-and south of theWestmark Development Co. <br />subdivision No:•.1, (south' off 'GESSner -Road) • Taenty six (20) <br />_ residential=sublots proposed:fxom:parcels 231-27-21, 231-30-1, and part of.'parcei 23.1-27-3: . Kader of,Vipnna Homes: and.-Fre&Bower--of Shor-e-West-Constru-ction <br />presented the, preliminary.plan,.,It was:explained that this _ <br />is a C.residence district:•.Neighbors questioned a boundry dis- <br />crepenc.y -with _permanent parcel l 231=30-14 which was part.of a <br />previous.subdivision which 'abutts this one. Mr. McDermott. . <br />explained that further research had verified that_this lot had <br />originally been plated prior to the existing codes and since the <br />- eastern most line had already been established no variances <br />' were required and that the lot did not have to conform to the <br />square foot requirements of the code. Neighbors*felt that <br />recent flooding problems-would indicate that the retnesion " <br />. system for the existing development'is not adequate. Mr. <br />McDermott stated that this-area wili.have to have its bwn re- tension system,.but it will-not improve-existing problems.
