The adjacent <br />property owners will be notified again when the proposal is again <br />s che dule d. <br />North Olmste.d City Schools Service Center, 27463 Butternut Ridge Rd. <br />Mr. Storch, Assistant Superintendent of Schools, explained that the <br />School Board had 2 alternate proposals for approval, one for a 50' by <br />100' brick extension to the existing maintenance building and another <br />for a separate metal building to be placed south of the existing <br />b uilding on the Junior High School property. It was the feeling of <br />the Commission that they could not approve both plans, and that they <br />could not send both proposals to the Architectural Board of Review. <br />The School Board will decide which building will be constructed <br />af ter bids have been taken for b oth s tructures. In resp onse to <br />the neighbors' inquiries, Mr. Storch invited them to the School <br />Board Meeting on April 14th at 8:00 p.m, at.the Junior High School <br />Library where the plans will be discussed. Mr. Templeton, 5451 <br />Burns Rd, questioned how far the building would extend. It would be <br />100 feet directly south from the existing b uilding, 25 feet from the <br />fence along the rear property lines of the homes facing Burns Rd. <br />He was assured that the Engineering Department would review drainage <br />to determine that the plan meets Ci ty Code. Mr. Storch explained to <br />Councilman Wilamosky and the residents that the purpose of the <br />b uilding is to house the ten man Maintenance Department of the Schools <br />for carpentry and electrical work, small appliance repair, and for <br />the storage of some outside eq uipment (not trucks). He also ex- <br />plained that the path between the Junior High School property and <br />the Senior High would not be used for transporting equipment, in <br />fact, a fence is being considered from the east end of the rear pro- <br />perty lines on Burns Rd, to the stadium which will eliminate this <br />path. Jim Metz, 5443 Burns, was advised that if a metal building <br />were chosen it would be a painted enamel steel and that no additional <br />lighting (other than building lights) was plannede R. Perla moved to <br />place the North Olmsted City School Service Center in committee until <br />s uch time as a concrete p roposal is p resented to Planning Commission, <br />seconded by T. Morgan, and imanimously approved. Chairman Bugala re- <br />quested that abutting property owners be notified when this proposal <br />is reopened. <br />Skating Rink, Mill Rd. with 1 entrance off Lorain Rd. . <br />This item was heard concurrently with Item (a) under NEW DEVELOPMENTS <br />AND SUBDIVISIONS. <br />Mr. J.
