Board of Zoning Appeals 11-10-76 ? 2° <br />sideline is proposed location for the tool shed. Size, shape and <br />topography of the land must be considered in this case inasmuch as <br />there is swale on the property. Mr. Huntington moved to grant the <br />variance. Yx. Hamill seconded and motion passed. <br />2. David A. Feldscher, 24238 Noreen Dr. Request for variance (1133.13)• Re <br />quest for 1 fto height variance for fence (fence installed)a Violation of <br />Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.04. <br />Present: Mr. Feldscher and neighbor who were administered the oath. Case <br />and appeal were read. Neighbor to west ha5 no objections; it helps <br />hide the ditch behind. Neighbor to rear has no objections. There <br />is drainage easement and ditch is an ugly sight. Mr. Huntington <br />moved to grant the variance. Mr. alson seconded and motion pasged. <br />3. John Smatla, L145 Columbia Rd. Request for variance (1133e13). Request for <br />sideline variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1161.01. <br />Present: Mr. Smatla and one other who were administered the oath. Case and <br />appeal were read. Variance for special permit for non-conforming and <br />5 ft. variance are required. Lot is deep. After short discussion <br />lYr. Huntington moved to grant special permit and 5 ft. sideline vari- <br />ance. Mr. Hamill seconded and motion passed unanimously. <br />4. Mr. and Mrso Ray Glessman, 4531 Columbia Rd. Request for variance (1133.13) <br />Request to remodel exterior of non-conforming building (barber shop). Special <br />permission required by Ord. 52-33 Section 1163.01. <br />Present: Mr. and Mrs. Glessman and Mr. Borash who were administered the oath <br />Case and appeal were read. There is to be change in roof and im- <br />provement in foundation. It is a non-conforming structure and non- <br />conforming use (area is zoned residential). ti1r. Hamill moved to <br />grant special permission to remodel exterior of non-conforming struc- <br />ture for non-conforming use. Mr. Olson seconded and motion passed. <br />5. Theodore Kerg, 3106 W. 231st St. Request for variance (1133.13)• Request for <br />variance for distance between garage and proposed addition. Uiolation of Ord. <br />62-33 Section 1151.04 requiring 20 ft. <br />Presente Mr. and P'Irs. Kerg and one other who were administered the oath. Case <br />and appeal were read. plans were examined and explained: Mr. Hunt- <br />ington moved to grant 8 fte variance for distance between house and <br />garage. Mr. Hamill seconded and motion passed. <br />6. Hennie Homes, Znc., 28867 Torain Rd. Request for variance (1133•13)• Requost <br />for re-application of request for sideline variance at L343 Dogwood Trai1 (Sub- <br />Lot 42). Vio3ation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1161.01. <br />PresentF W. Welke, Councilman j^:ilamosky and others who were administered the <br />oath. Case and appeal were read. Aiinutes of Aug. !t meeting were <br />reviewed. Details of size of house, engineering study and neigh- <br />bors giving objections Vaere included in the discussion. Mr. Olson <br />moved to deny the request.
