Board of Zoning Appeals 5-7-75 <br />-3- <br />5. Kent C. Skurkey, 230E9 Clifford Br. Request for variance (1133.13). Re_ <br />e quest for permission to add to non conforming dwelling (35 fto front set- <br />back; 15 ft. sidelines a.nd too close to detached garage). Special permis- <br />sion required by Ord. 1231.02. <br />Present: Mr. Skurkey and Mrs. Saringer who were administered the oath. <br />Case and appeal were read. Plans were examined and explained. <br />There are no ob'ections from neighbors. NIr. Ledvina had made <br />inspection and ?eels addition will not detract. It Ujill be 61 <br />ft. to back property line with the addition. Mr. Tubbs moved to <br />grant special permission to add to non con.forming dwelling and <br />1 ft. side yard variance. Mr. Duskey seconded and motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />6. George Lasko, 27401 Edgepark Dr. Request for varianceo (1133.13)• Re- <br />quest for 2 ft. fence height variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section <br />1151,04. <br />Present: Mrv Lasko, John Shephard9 attorney for M.r. Lasko and Mr. Goggin. <br />Witnesses were administered the oath. Case and appeal were read <br />Lasko property is loVaer than neighbors; other homes have fences. <br />There was letter from adjoining landowners who have no objectionso <br />Mr. Tubbs and Mr. Ledvina had inspected. Mr. Tubbs said 8 fte <br />fence is needed. 30 ft. deep rear yard is not adequate. There <br />followed discussion of fences in neighborhood9 fences blowing down <br />in viinter and how Mr. Lasko had planted trees for the last three <br />years but each time they were drowned out. Mr. Olson moved to <br />grant the variance on basis of hardship. Mr. Tubbs seconded and <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />7. Donald P. Palmer, 6152 Paisley Dr. Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />for 2 ft. fence height variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33 5ection 1151.04. <br />Present: Mr. and Nlrs. Palmer, Mr. Speedling and F4ro and N??rs. Freeh who were <br />administered the oath. Case and appeaZ were read. Drawing was ex- <br />amined and explained. Planned is fence alternating with open space <br />with shrubs. Location of proposed fence is neighbor's front yard. <br />Shrubbery was suggested by Board members. Mr. Freeh objects - it <br />would block vision all the wayo Other suggestions were made. Tqr. <br />I?uskey moved to reject,the request. Mr. Tubbs seconded. Roll Call <br />on the motion: Aye - Messre. Duskey, Mr. Tubbs, Mr. Olson and Mr. <br />Ledvinao Mr. Tubbs abstaineds Request rejectedo <br />8. Leonard lnhite, 6932 Chadbourne Dr. Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />for special permit for existing tool shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section <br />1133.09. <br />Present: No one came forth - Court action is pending in this case. Tool <br />shed is on property line, close to housee Letter of pbjection <br />from Bretton Ricige Civic Association was reade Drawing was ex- <br />plainede NIr.
