Callaqhan, 4670 Columbia Rd „ stated that he wasn't clear about any part of <br />the Zoning Ordinance and requested that the types of Zoning andthe limits of each <br />be gi ven e <br />Mrs. E. Callaqhan, 4670 Columbia Rdo, requested that an explaination.be made of <br />the differences between Multiple, Industrii•al, MFxed Use and Retail (local & general). <br />Mr, R. Caeroll, 5817 Stearns Rd „ requested more specific information as to size <br />and scope of Industry?to be allowed in the Limited Industrial Area. <br />Mr. M. Scanlon, 4$84 Martin Dro, requested that the orange "C" Residential area <br />be pointed out on the Map, <br />way <br />Mre A. Barc°ett, 6676 McKenzie, asked that if the Interstate Hlgh/becomes a reality, <br />will Brookpark be taken off limited access status and also that,if the Interstate <br />Route will be as the State now po°oposes will it aff.ect the Industrial Area. <br />is <br />Mr. F. G. Kitson, 27935 Lorain, requested information as what new zoning/proposed <br />for Lorain from Decker Road to MclCenziea <br />Mr. G. Trefz, 6486 Chart°les Rd,, stated that the proposed zoning would upgrade <br />some of the area but that a portion of Charles is zoned for "A" residential; <br />next,to that is Limited Industt°y - this is not upgrading the residential area <br />and also asked what is considered an :adequat.e buffer strip. <br />Mr. J. Esqar, 5097 Whitethorn, asked if there is some method on enforcing building <br />and maintenance of a buffer strip and also asked if there is adequate drainage <br />in the Industrial area. <br />Mr. F. Crider, 31512 Lorain, asked what consideration was given to the Regional <br />Planning Commission's ?repoa°t of 1960 and also read an excerpfi from the Report. <br />M_r. W. Spalding, 5131 Andrus, stated that he felt the Regional Planning Commission's <br />survey of the population ga°owth for North Olmsted is h;i?gh and feels that the <br />growth of population will not support the proposed commercial zoning and inquired <br />as to what populateon studies were used when deciding the proposed zoning changes. <br />Mre K. Keslik, 29510 Lorain Rd,, inquired why the area where h e lives is proposed <br />for Local Retail Zoning and stated that the entire length of Lorain should be <br />the same zoningo <br />Mro J. Hiqqins, 5151 Lucydale, stated that he hoped the new zoning would prohibit <br />use of property so close to Lorain Rd. such as Ludwigs "Portico" and Sudkamps and <br />also stated that the Gity needs a good Architectural Review Board. <br />Mr. Wi semman, Bar°ton Rd,e , i nqus red i f a junk yard could be i n a Mixed Use Di stri ct <br />on a 10 acre, olot of land. Bie stated that the Mixed Use District is sloppy zoning. <br />Mr. F. Crider, 31512 Los°ain , stated that approximate 4 miles of Lorain is zoned <br />for busTness and inquired if the pr°oposed zoning was decided primarily on desire <br />of certain individuals or on the needs of the City and also stated that if the <br />Interstate Highway is located in North Olmsted that it would be a controlled <br />access highway and would not bring more business to the City.
