Robert Storch and Mr. Richard Lesko represented <br />the North Olmsted School System. Mr. Storch referred to the minutes of the <br />.April 11, 1967 Planninp• Commission meeting, wY?ich stated that the boiler <br />room was in a poor Iocation and the parking was inadequatea P!e introduced <br />Mr. Lesko to present their views on this problem. It was stated that the <br />boiler room location ha.s little, or no effect, on the cost of the building <br />when hot water heating is useda It was further stated that the parking <br />was primarily for th.e staff of the buildinF and for busses, but withA ery <br />slight modification, parking for? 90 to 100 cars would be possible. <br />motion was made by riro Scheeff and seconded by Mro Prokasy to approve the <br />new Butternut Elementary School Plans9 with the modification of parking as <br />suggested by NIr. Lesko. Ayes : Prokas,y, Scheeff, Spalcling and Esgar. <br />(c) Normandy Apartments <br />A mot3.on was made bST Mr. Prokasy, seconded by N1r. Scheeff <br />that preliminary plans for t7ie Normandy Apartments be continued•in cornmit- <br />tee to permit the cominittee to meet and discuss with the developer, modifi- <br />cations that would m.ake the plans abide with the North 07xnsted Zoning <br />Ordinance. Ayes: Prokasy, Scheeff, Spalding and Esgar. <br />Ip New Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) Lorainm260th Realt,y Company <br />Mr. William Mintz spoke, representing the Lorain-260th <br />Investment Company, He sta.ted that they had acquired the old Par 3•Golf <br />Course property ad-jacent to Len Derin.Dodpe. The.y are requestin? rezoning <br />the commercial depth from 500 feet to 700 Peet to permit buildinF. an <br />Off3ee Bi.iilding and a Niedical Building, They are also requesting that the <br />remaining area of 17 acres, extending back approximately 2100 feet from <br />Lorain Road, to be rezoned from single residence to multiple residence to <br />permit a one and two story apartment de4elopment. Preliminary drawings <br />showing this arranFemer_t were presented. A motion was made by Mra Prokasg <br />and seconded by Ms. Scheeff to place the Lorain-260th Investment Company <br />Development into committeee Ayeso Prokas.y SC?ommitteeala Seheeff gand <br />and Fabek. (Nir. Fabek arrived at 9:00 P.M.I. Prokasy. <br />(b) Anter Subd3vision <br />Since no r°epresentative was present and no plana were <br />a.vailable, no action was taken on this subdivisione <br />(c) Reeaing Rezoning Request <br />No representative was present, however, plans were <br />presented showing that Mr. Reesing wants to move a two-family ho?smotion <br />a single residence area on Clague Road near the ln?estlake line. <br />was made by N:rm Prokasy and seconded by Mr. Fabek that Mra Reesing4s request area be rejected because a two-family house ffinasingl , Fabekeand Esgar?s not a <br />permitted. use.
