It was pointed out to Mr. Church and to Mr. Banushka <br />that firewall is required in ga.rage zvhen the distance between garage and dwelling <br />is lOt or less. Mr. Roberta moved to grant a variance of 101 on condition that <br />firewall specification or over 101 distance.requirement is me-t. Mr. Nelson seconded <br />the motion. Motion pa.ssed. <br />6. B.eq_uest to erect signs in <br />excess of the permitted square footage. <br />R.equest is in violation of Ord.inance #62-33' Sectzon 1225.02e <br />Present: P2r. Burnam of Hamilton Displays an.d Mr. Gillia.n of U. S. Rubber Co. <br />Mr. Rurnam presented colored photographs depicting otlier U. S. Rubber stores <br />with similar signs. Signs total 392 square feet and it was determined that <br />according to the code' 2,68 square feet is «llowed. It was discussed whether or <br />r_ot directional letters above doors constitute signs and it was decided tha.t they <br />do. Mr. A?elson moved to grant a variance of 135 square feet to be used as follows: <br />Sign Noo 1- 176 square feet, Sign No. 2- 176 square feet, Sign No. 3- 40 square <br />feet and /a.l,. directional letters not to exceed 6" in height. Mr. Byers seconded <br />the motion. Motion passed.. <br />7. Appellan-t: Faye Price, 23661 Stoneybrook Drive. Request to install a <br />custom designed fence of variable height around air condit?oner <br />and along a portion of side lot line. A maxirnum variance of <br />21 is requested.
