Appellant: Bauer Development, Inc., 2207 Devonshire Drive, Cleveland <br />Heights, Ohio. <br />Request for variance (1133.13) to build a house on s/1 175 <br />Paisley Drive, North Olmsted, having a rear yard setback <br />of 47.51 instead of 50' required by Section 1163.01. Re- <br />quest is for 2.5° variancee <br />Mro Bauer showed the Board his plans for a house in the $35000.00 class which <br />would require a 2.5 feet variance in the rear yard setbacka The Board dis- <br />covered the variance required would be 4.5 feet. Mrs. Eian suggested moving <br />the house forward so it could be a conforming building in the event a patio <br />would require covering in the future. Mr. Bauer replied he was saving a <br />tree in the front yard. Mr. Gundy explained why this wasn't possible for <br />other reasons, Mr. Byers then made a motion to grant thz variance. Second <br />by Mrs. Eian. Unanimously approved. <br />6. Appellant: Rinyu Realty Company, Inc., 3657 West 117th Street, Cleveland, <br />Ohio. <br />Request for variance to erect a 4' x 6' real estate adver- <br />tising sign ori the south side of Lcrain Road 501 east of <br />NlcKenzie Road. <br />Request is in violation of Zoning Ordinance 62-33, Section <br />1225.01 (C) which tates the sign shall be on the premises <br />being developed and within 500 feet of the actual ongoing <br />development. <br />Mr. Qtto Bielert appeared for Rinyu Realty Company and withdrew the request <br />fer variance due to the fact that arrangements had not been made with the <br />property owners to place the sign. <br />2. Appellant: Stephen A. Kadar, 4209 Lorain kvenue, Cleveland, Ohioo <br />Request for variance (1133.13) to build a single 12' x 22' <br />fireproof garage addition to an existing sm:all 7' x 15' <br />attached garage. <br />Request is in violation of Zoning Ordinance 62-33, Section <br />1163.01, which requires 50' rear yard setback. Variance <br />request is about 32 feet, <br />Mr. Kadar showed his plans ior proposed addition. A neighbor, Mrs. Froelich <br />appeared and said she had no objections to Mr. Kadar's expansion, saying it <br />would be preferable to sone other buildings in the area. Mr. Ivelson made a <br />motion to grant the variance. Second by Mr. Byers. Vote was unanimous. <br />8. Appellant: Rinyu Realty Company, Inc., 3657 tdest 117th Street, Cleveland, <br />I Ohio, <br />Request for variance (1133.13) to build two houses, one <br />being on s/1 396 and ?z of s/1 395 and the other on s/1 394 <br />and iz of s/1 395 Decker Road. <br />Request is in violation of Zoning Ordinance 62-33, Section <br />1163e01, which states the minimum depth of the rear yard <br />shall be 50 feet. Request is for 10' variance.
