Planning Commission 1-22,74 - 3 - <br />d- • cluded in present development planso Architect Bernstein <br />displayed renderings of proposed apartments, including view <br />from .Lorain Rde, and protective gate house. Nir. Elliott <br />asked about concerns of adjacent citizens. Mrs. Saringer <br />' asked about rubbish disposal and sewer drainage. Rubbish <br />collection is to be made by private hauler and sewer drain- <br />age as toward Dover lift station. i"1ro Goggin asked about <br />number of suites proposed. 200 one bedroom suites and 118 <br />two bedroom suites are proposed. Mr. Tischler inquired <br />about the narrow frontage on Lorai,n Rd, for ingress and <br />egress. He asked if this is normala Mr. Brewer moved the <br />preliminary plans be approved. Mr. Elliott seconded the <br />motion. Messrse Brewer, Tischler and Elliott voted aye. <br />14r. Ricnards voted nay and Mrso Eian abstainedo Motion <br />for approval of Columbia Village was defeated. <br />(b ) Oaks of Bradley Woods <br />This is rezoning request to accommodate ingress and egress. <br />There is question of how area became landlockede Mr. Kiesel <br />seems to have landlocked himself by reference to data gather- <br />ed by Engineer McDermotto Use of residential property for <br />access driveway to multi family has been ruled illegal. Sub <br />Lot 10 is vacant and needs to be rezoned for access from <br />residential to multi familyo Possibility of buying from city <br />exists but would be expensive. Mro Brewer moved to object <br />to proposal on basis of poor planning. iqr. Tischler second- <br />ed and motion passed. <br />V, New Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) Barton Woods Subdivision #1 (Kiesel) - Barton Rd. west of Bradley <br />Metropolitan Park Board is purchasing back land. Proposal has <br />been reviewed by Engineering Department. AZayor Christman came <br />forward from another meeting at this time and explained his <br />correspondence with Metropolitan Park Eoard regarding its pur- <br />chase of back land. Plan was withdrawne <br />(b) North Olmsted Lumber Rezoning <br />Mr. McDermott presented all Commission members with plans of <br />proposalo Representatives of North Olmsted Lumber Company <br />appeared before the Commission to explain plan for rezoning <br />of portion of a parcelo The August 28 minutes of special <br />meeting of Planning Commission were reade Copies of previous <br />plans are needed. Vir. Bretaer moved to place in Committee. Mr. <br />Tischler secondede During discussion it was stated proposal <br />is to build similar to construction in progress for storage. <br />Bus garage property is adjacent. There was call for the ques- <br />tiono Vote taas unanimous to place in committee. <br />(c ) Chrysler Real.ty Subdivision Preliminar.y Plan - 18 lots <br />Mr. McDermott distributed survey maps among members of the Com- <br />mission.
