Donna Rote
=rom: Bhouse1910
5ent: Sunday, November a,, 2013 4:24 PM
To: Donna Rote
Subject: Barn at 27751 Blossom - please forward to Jennifer Rudolph
Dear Ms Rudolph,
I am unable to attend the hearing concerning CMS13-37 but would still like to voice my opinion on this
structure. When I was awakened by the noise one morning and went back in my yard later (at 27810 Sanders Ln) to see
the structure, I thought someone was building a small cottage and at the very least, a barn. And of course I wondered
how they were allowed to do that. Come to find out later, they wern't !!! Everyone knows a permit is required - well, I
guess if you can build it fast enough, you can skirt that requirement ! The structure is much too big for the area and
definitely takes away from the ambiance of the back yards in this area of North Olmsted. It truly looks like a cottage or a
barn - not a small storage shed. And it should not be allowed. And IT ISN'T allowed, according to the zoning !!!
When I had a new roof a few years ago, the building inspector was by quite a few time to make sure there was a attic
fan installed - took a while. I believe it is important to maintain properties to code, as do the city inspectors.
Sincerely
Bob Seedhouse
27810 Sanders Lane
