Ms. Wenger said the commission has discussed changing their recognition program for century
homes. Mr. Dubelko said he drafted possible wording which could be used. Commissioners
discussed the wording and the intent to make recognizing local homes less restrictive. After
discussing the different forms of recognition some members felt they should keep the current
program and just add a program which is less restrictive. The commission briefly discussed a
plaque size, having them purchased through the city, and the cost of the plaque falling upon the
owners. Ms. Wenger said once she received the wording from Mr. Dubelko she would work with
the Law Department to draft official language for the commission to review.
2015 Bicentennial Updates
Ms. Wenger said a new story by Mr. Dubelko about the Christman family was added and the
timeline is continually updated. The Mall displays are still being worked out with Frostville.
Mr. Limpert said the historical tour is coming together and their SITES student who's in the high
school thespian group will work with him to recruit members of the group to play the parts on
the bus tour. Mr. Dubowski said each stop has been scheduled and he is in the process of
gathering information to do a pamphlet for information on each location.
ADJOURleTIVIENT
With no further business, Mr. Rerko's absence was excused and the meeting adjourned at
8:35pm.
David Neville, Cbair
Date: -; Fr?/..3 //,S-
