A 40 sq. ft. variance for a shed; code permits 80 sq. ft., applicant shows 120 sq. ft., <br />Section 1135.02(d)(1). <br />2. A 1 ft. varaance for shed height; code permits 8 ft., applicant shows 9 ft., Section <br />1135.02(d)(1), <br />Motion passed 5-0. <br />15-4480: John SinIZleton; 23871 Beaumont Drive <br />Proposal consists of a fence in the front yard. The foliowing variance is requested: <br />1. A 12 in. variance for a picket fence in the front yard; code permits 30 in., applicant shows 42 <br />in., Section 1135.02(f)(1). <br />The oath was administered to John Singleton. He said he would like to install a 20 foot section of <br />white slotted vinyl fencing from the house along the sidewalk to the driveway for safety. The <br />fence will be 42 inches high with solar lights along the top caps. The fence will not impede <br />visibility as the top of the fence is the same height as the bottom of the picture window. Mr. <br />Allain asked if the purpose is to aesthetically hide the safety railing and Mr. Singleton said yes. <br />Mr. Raig said he had no objections due to the purpose of the fence truly being a safety rail. <br />Mr. Papotto moved, seconded by 1VIs. Bellido, to grant 15-4480: John Singleton of 23871 <br />Beaumont Drive a 12 in. variance for a piclcet fence in the front yard; code permits 30 in., <br />applicant shows 42 in., Section 1135.02(f)(1), rnotion passed 5-0. <br />15-4484: Thomas Van Schoor; 4636 Martin Drive <br />Proposal consists of a front porch. The following variance is requested: <br />1. A 13 ft. 7 in. variance for a front porch in the front yard setback; code requires 50', applicant <br />shows 36 ft. 5 in., section 1135.06 (a). <br />The oath was administered to Thomas VanSchoor. He is seeking a variance to construct a front <br />porch. Currently the main entrance to the home has a small cement slab. The new 10' by 20' <br />entry porch would include a roof and enhance the curb appeal of the home. Ms. Rudolph aslced if <br />the roof would match the existing roof and Mr. VanSchoor said the porch will have a hip roof to <br />match the home. Members said the porch which will enhance the home's appearance and value. <br />1VIr.
