Centennial Home Program <br />3297 Columbia Road, 3605 Columbia Road, 3650 Columbia Road, 3841 Columbia Road, 3908 <br />Columbia Road, 4550 Columbia Road, 4554 Columbia Road, 4748 Columbia Road, 4822 <br />Columbia Road, 4850 Columbia Road, 5308 Columbia Road, 5599 Columbia Road <br />Mr. Morse stated that the homes listed have an OHI form or Cuyahoga County with build dates <br />prior to 1910. He added that they have not been replaced and qualify for the Centennial Home <br />program. <br />Mr. Morse moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to approve the list of homes on Columbia <br />Road as Centennial Homes, motion passed 7-0. <br />Committee Work Updates <br />Records <br />Mr. Limpert spoke with Mr. Dubelko and decided which traffic study files they would like to <br />keep. They decided to keep the 1970, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1988 (also includes original <br />photos), 1990, and 1998 traffic studies. The box of detailed recordings are recommended to be <br />kept but may be able to be destroyed in the future if there are space constraints. Ms. Rambo- <br />Ackerman will add the surveys to the Landmarks Commission's records. Mr. Limpert reviewed <br />the value the surveys provide for research and suggested scanning the original photos. <br />Mr. Limpert moved, seconded by Mr. Schumann, to a-etain the Traffic Control files in the <br />Landmarks Comanission archives, motion passed 7-0. <br />Historic Preservation Plan <br />Ms. Schuler stated that the committee has been revie??ing the plan and is working on the draft. <br />Mr. Aspery added that the draft will be ready for the August meeting. <br />25961 Kenendy Ridge Road <br />Mr. Neville asked about 25961 Kennedy Ridge being landmarked, Mr. Morse stated that one of <br />the goals for the commission will be to look for homes to landmark. <br />Old Towm Hall <br />Mr. Aspery stated that the committee met with John Patrick Picard, the architect for the Old <br />Town Hall renovation project, to review the concept drawings for the project. Mr. Schumann <br />said the plan is to convert Old Town Hall into the mayor's court. An addition will be built on the <br />north side of the building which will be set back from the front of the existing building. A glass <br />enclosure will connect the current building with the addition to visually separate the spaces. The <br />offices for mayor's court and Youth and Family Services will be housed there. Security for staff <br />will be increased. Repairs to the existing building will be included in the project. Discussion <br />about the interior plans for the exiting building. Mr. Schumann stated that the project will be paid <br />out of the general fund, mostly from mayor's court revenue. The building will be available for <br />other city functions. The design will come before the commission and City Council for approval. <br />Historic District Signage
