Based on the property's zoning designation, code permits a maximum accessory storage <br />building size of 80 square feet. The applicant exceeds this amount by 40 square feet, requiring a <br />variance. Mr. McDevitt stated that the lot size is one square foot short of the required lot size to <br />build the next allowable size shed. Ms. McDevitt added that they store two cars in the garage and <br />need more room to store their outdoor equipment.
