BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS 2005 REPORT <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Halleen Kia, of 27726 Lorain Road their request for variance <br />(1123.12) and that the following variance is granted as amended: <br />5. A 15 foot variance for parking vehicles along North property line, (code requires 20', applicant <br />shows 8'). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1139.07 table). Variance is contingent <br />upon lot consolidation. T. Kelly seconded the motion, which was unanimously denied. Variance <br />Denied. 3/3/05 <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Halleen Kia, of 27726 Lorain Road their request for variance <br />(1123.12) and that the following variance is granted as amended: <br />7. A 5.4 foot candle variance for illumination levels, (code permits 5.0, applicant shows 10.4). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1161.12 (c)). Variance is contingent upon lot <br />consolidation. T. Kelly seconded the motion. Roll call on the motion; T. Kelly, W. Kremzar and <br />J. Maloney "yes" and M. Diver "no". Variance Granted. 3/3/05 <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Halleen Kia, of 27726 Lorain Road their request for variance <br />(1123.12) and that the following variance is granted as amended: <br />8. A 32 foot variance for minimum distance from residential property line, (code permits 55', <br />applicant shows 23'). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1161.12 (e)). Variance is <br />contingent upon lot consolidation. T. Kelly seconded the motion which was unanimously denied. <br />Variance Denied. 3/3/05 <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Halleen Kia, of 27726 Lorain Road their request for variance <br />(1123.12) and that the following variance is granted as amended: <br />9. A variance for 1 additional wall sign on a building, (code permits 2, applicant shows 3). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.27 (A)). Variance is contingent upon lot <br />consolidation. T. Kelly seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. Variance <br />Granted. 3/3/05 <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Halleen Kia, of 27726 Lorain Road their request for variance <br />(1123.12) and that the following variance is granted as amended: <br />10. A variance for 1 additional ground sign on a lot, (code permits 1, applicant shows 2). Which <br />is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.26 (A)). Variance is contingent upon lot <br />consolidation. T. Kelly seconded the motion. Roll call on the motion; T. Kelly, W. Kremzar, J. <br />Maloney, "yes", and M. Diver "nd". Variance Granted. 3/3/05 <br />Weber Automotive 23779 Lorain Road, (WRD 2) <br />M. Diver moved to postpone Weber Automotive of 23779 Lorain Road until next meeting. J. <br />Maloney seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. Motion Carried 3/3/05 <br />Bryan Holmgren; 5107 Whitethorn Ave: (WRD 4) <br />T. Kelly moved to grant Bryan Holmgren of 5107 Whitethorn Ave his request for variance <br />(1123.12) which consists of an accessory structure and that the following variances are granted as <br />amended: <br />1. A variance for an accessory structure used for video & pinball machine hobby, (code <br />does not permit, applicant shows hobby use), section (1135.02 (132)), which is in violation of 90- <br />125, Section (1135.02 (132). <br />The accessory structure is to be used as a hobby only. It may not be used commercially as a <br />repair or sales shop or as a residential use. W. Kremzar seconded the motion which was <br />unanimously approved. 3/3/05 <br />2
