COMMITTEE AEI'ORTS: <br />Mr. Schumann reported that he and the site students viewed Mrs. VanAuken's slide show <br />presentation on North Olmsted. The students have been working at the Frostville Museum, <br />and once there is more time, the students would start collecting raw material. He wants to <br />video tape Mrs. VanAuken presenting her slide show as well as other residents' stories to <br />have a thorough record. He would like to conduct the video interviews at Old Town Hall. <br />Mr. Barlcer reported that he and Mr. Lang attended Planning Commissions meeting of <br />March 8t". KIA submitted new plans after, their Landmarks meeting and it did not show the <br />brick pavers as was specified. However, the City Engineer advised KIA that the briclc <br />pavers were required by code and must be along the tree lawns starting at the corner of <br />Dewey and Lorain Road to the corner of Lorain and Porter Road as well as the entire length <br />of tree lawn along Porter Road. Mr. Lang indicated that Planning Commission did not give <br />KIA final approval they must return with additional information addressing elevations and <br />photometric plans. Mr. Schumann advised that Mr. Kula granted him access to the home <br />scheduled to be demolished and he believes there are a few things worth saving. However, <br />nothing would be allowed to be removed until Mr. Carl Halleen returned from Florida. <br />Mr. Lang reviewed that Mrs. Lord, Mr. Barker and he went through the CLG application a <br />few months earlier to make sure the commission had all the pieces and parts needed for the <br />application packet. He would be picking up the documentation the clerk had thus far to put <br />everything in order. Once everything is put together he would take it to the Cleveland <br />Restoration Society, for proof reading before it is submitted to the Ohio Historical Society <br />2
