Lasko moved to have Planning & Design Commission recommend that the Board of <br />Zoning Appeals grant the applicants request for a special permit to add to a non- <br />conforming building. Planning & Design Commission believes that the development is <br />an improvement for not only the applicant but for the city as well. M. Mahoney <br />seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />J. Lasko moved that the Planning & Design Commission recommend that Board of <br />Zoning Appeals grant a 17 foot 10 inch variance for rear yard setback to further the <br />valid use of the site in conjunction to the banking establishment. Lasko moved to have Planning & Design Commission recommend that the Board of <br />Zoning Appeals grant a variance for conducting business activity in the rear yard which <br />code does not permit. The request to grant the variance is for the security of the bank and banks <br />clients. M. Mahoney seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />J. The request to grant the variance is based on the security issues brought <br />up by the applicant for the bank and clients of the bank. M. Lasko moved to approve Fifth Third Bank of 26187 Lorain Road their proposal for <br />the redevelopment and additional ATM drive-through lane as presented with the <br />following conditions: 1. The applicant will irrigate the redeveloped area along (south <br />side) Brookpark Road only as the north side is currently developed. 2. The landscaping <br />is to follow the comments of Mr. Malone as they pertain to landscaping. 3. The canopy <br />will be entirely renovated and or refinished when moving the ATM machine and any <br />damage which exist on the site is to be addressed during construction. J. Brooklor LLC.; PP# 236-01-002 Lorain Road: (WRD # 4) <br />Proposal consists of a conditional use permit and exterior modifications to existing building <br />to accommodate a new auto repair shop. <br />Ms. Wenger reported that the project consisted of a development proposal arid a request for a <br />conditional use permit.
