Update the City's Zoning Code and Subdivision Regulations in accordance with the <br />recommendations of the Master Plan. <br />Time Frame: Short range <br />Primary Responsibility: Planning <br />Supparting Rarties: Planning Commission, City Council, Building, Engineering <br />Status: The Zoning Code update is underway. The Planning Director is leading this <br />effort with support from the Zoning Advisory Committee. <br />c. Continue to improve the efficiency of the development approval process. <br />Time Frame: Ongoing <br />Primary Responsibility: Planning, Building, Engineering <br />Supporting Parties: Boards and Commissions <br />Status: A number of changes have already been made, including merging the <br />Planning Commission and Architectural Review Board into the Planning and Design <br />Commission and making development application materials available online. Other <br />changes are pending, including revisions to the minor change process. <br />d. Adopt design guidelines. <br />Time Frame: Short range <br />Primary Responsibility: City Council <br />Supporting Parties: Planning Commission, Planning <br />Status: The Design Guidelines have been drafted and will be merged into the <br />updated Zoning Code. <br />e. Actively work with the Board of Education, Cleveland IVletro Parks, and other public <br />agencies to plan for fdature facility needs and set aside land as needed. <br />Time Frame: Ongoing <br />Primary Responsibility: Administration <br />Supporting Parties: NO City SchoaEs, Recreation Gommissioner <br />Status: In progress. The City has already had success negotiating a joint access <br />drive between the Metro Parks and the Fire Station #2 property. The City is also <br />working on a Recreation Master Plan which will explore partnerships with public <br />agencies. <br />f.
