Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Malone, to reeommend the Board of Zoning Appeals <br />grant COMS08-13: NOAC (Lotus Dealership) of PP# 234-24-006 Lorain Rd a variance for <br />a second wall sign, code permits 1 applicant shows 2, section 1136.28, which was <br />unanimously approved 6-0. Recorrunendation is based on the fact there will be two uses within <br />the building. If there were two entrances there would be no need for the variance. <br />1VIr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Rerko, to approve the proposal for CO1dIS08-13: NO <br />Auto Collection (Lotus) of PPN 234-24-006 which consists of constructing a new auto <br />dealership with the following conditions: <br />1. Board of Zoning Appeals grants the needed variances. <br />2. Use brick pavers rather than stamped concrete in the right of way. <br />3. Revised plan will show stucco used on the building base rather than EIFS. <br />4. The westernmost display and parking space will be removed to expand the aisle width <br />and eliminate width variance. <br />5. The landscaping at the east coi-ner of building will be expanded forward to the sidewalk <br />and modified to display one display vehicle along the east entrance. <br />The anotion was unanimously approved 6-0. <br />Mr. Laslco commended the applicant for presenting such a detailed set of plans and professional <br />maru-ler in which they worked with the city to compromise in their plans to ensure the <br />development would be beneficial to their business and the city. Mr. Moreno thanlced the board <br />and city staff for their assistance and loolced forward to worlcing with the city again in the future. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by 1VIr. Malone, to excuse the absence of Mr. Bohlmann, which <br />was unanimously, approved 6-0. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 pm. <br />J J.
