Basc mapping data was compiled from information provided by rhe Cuyahoga <br />County Planning Commission. Digital information in ArcView GIS file <br />format such as acrial photography (circa 2006), pazcels, planimctrics> strats <br />maps, and topography wcre obtained and manipulaud in an AutoCAD filc <br />format for use for the GNMM1'P. The City's digital file of the Ciry Zoning <br />Map has also been used in the base mapping for the projea. A map of the <br />GCRTA System Map was obtained &om RTA that rcflxrs che current bus <br />routes with the Ciry. A Sidewalk Deficiency map was creaced to show areas <br />within the projoct study azea lacking public sidewalks to illustrate where <br />sidewalks aze needed in orda for continuous pedesuian acccss to occur. <br />Finally a detailed infrasttuctute repott and photo inventory was completed. <br />'Ihis report was utilized as reference for safory needs, improvemcnt necds, and <br />aesthetic needs within the study area. <br />The compilation of data and analysis of the study azea led to the aeation <br />of the map bdow which illustrates how the exiting cransportation systcm, <br />especially the bike and pedestrian system, fails to link comtnunity assers and <br />destinarion points effectivdy. <br />D?pr.?in?• <br />F'?:411.4e <br />0,4d A. <br />ursuw <br />Norch Olmsted, Ohio 1 7 <br />Figure 3: Land use, destination areas and opporiunities
