Mr. Simonyi said he is concerned with traffic leaving the parlcing lot as the <br />lights will shine into his windows and he has had to call the owners about generator noise. Some <br />neighbors who couldn't malce the meeting tonight are against the parking lot expansion, lights <br />and more traffic on Maclcenzie. The Commission discussed circulation issues in detail. Mr. Lasko voted no, with comment that he would have <br />ruled on the matter as applicants requested. <br />OLD BUSI1o1ESS <br />CMS10-24: Clearwire; 4930 I)over Center Road <br />Representative: John Sindyla, Clearwire <br />Ms. Wenger said the proposal involves installing three wireless telecommunication antennas and <br />three microwave dishes on the existing water tower. The water tower is owned by City of <br />Cleveland, but the property is owned by the City of North Olmsted. The antennae will be <br />installed on the existing handrail surrounding the tank wallcway at a mounting height of 120 feet. <br />Commissioner's previous concerns were inadequate provisions for parking service vehicles and <br />the location of the ground equipment being too close to residential property. Since then a <br />meeting with representatives of Clearwire and Cleveland Water was held to discuss improved <br />plans for better access and placement. The existing Dover Center parking area will be expanded <br />to accommodate service parlcing. Equipment location will be in the northeast area of the <br />compound with access tluough a separate gate and sidewalk and provisions were made to <br />accommodate fiiture expansions with other carriers. Functionally and aesthetically, the revised <br />plan is better for such equipment. Cleveland Water raised concei-ns, regarding weeds and high <br />grass within the fenced walkways if not accessible to regular maintenance crews. Mr. Mitchell <br />said the revised plan shows two parlcing spaces but aslced if more were needed. Mr. O'Malley <br />reviewed that the city was in the process of negotiating a lease agreement between all parties and <br />noted that the existing easement did not address maintenance concerns. <br />Mr. Sindyla said the equipment area was moved to the northeast corner of the compound and is <br />required to have its access area separate from the main compound.
