in the area. Mr. Bohlmann felt as the southwest area was residential the pavement should be
removed and converted into greenspace. Mrs. Meredith aslced if vehicle headlights during the
evening would shine directly into the Hills home and Mr. Rerko said it appeared that they would.
Mrs. Hill said the mixed zoning was not appropriate and felt the owners were trying to do too
nnich on the lot. Mr. Simonyi said he is concerned with traffic leaving the parlcing lot as the
lights will shine into his windows and he has had to call the owners about generator noise. Some
neighbors who couldn't malce the meeting tonight are against the parking lot expansion, lights
and more traffic on Maclcenzie. The Commission discussed circulation issues in detail. Mr.
Laslco offered the applicants the opportunity to withdraw or request to be tabled; the applicants
stated they did not wish to be tabled or withdraw.
1VI?•. The water tower is owned by City of
Cleveland, but the property is owned by the City of North Olmsted. The antennae will be
installed on the existing handrail surrounding the tank wallcway at a mounting height of 120 feet.
Commissioner's previous concerns were inadequate provisions for parking service vehicles and
the location of the ground equipment being too close to residential property. Since then a
meeting with representatives of Clearwire and Cleveland Water was held to discuss improved
plans for better access and placement. The existing Dover Center parking area will be expanded
to accommodate service parlcing. Equipment location will be in the northeast area of the
compound with access tluough a separate gate and sidewalk and provisions were made to
accommodate fiiture expansions with other carriers. Functionally and aesthetically, the revised
plan is better for such equipment. Cleveland Water raised concei-ns, regarding weeds and high
grass within the fenced walkways if not accessible to regular maintenance crews. Mr. Mitchell
said the revised plan shows two parlcing spaces but aslced if more were needed. Mr. O'Malley
reviewed that the city was in the process of negotiating a lease agreement between all parties and
noted that the existing easement did not address maintenance concerns.
Mr. Sindyla said the equipment area was moved to the northeast corner of the compound and is
required to have its access area separate from the main compound. The new location provides
more buffering and will not be visible to residential sites. Spaces for future tenants are located in
