with the other sites around North Olmsted. The antenna height will be 7 feet and the screening <br />will extend to cover the entire antenna system all of which will be below 15 feet. The <br />maintenance is monitored at an off site location for security and proper operation. There is a <br />monthly and manufacture required site visits as well as an annual inspection. The installation <br />will meet all FCC and FAA regulations. <br />Mr. Malone asked if the service is for internet only or both internet and mobile phones and Mr. <br />Jacobs said for now just wireless internet. Mr. Bohlmann questioned the weight of the <br />equipment as he felt the entire roof should be evaluated for the ability to sustain the added <br />weight and Mr. Mitchell agreed such a study was warranted. Mr. Jacobs said he would have a <br />structural analyses conducted and submitted. Mr. Parry questioned the stealth wall materials, <br />their wind capacity and color. Mr. Jacobs said the colors will match the buildings and a wind <br />analyses will be included in the submittal. The wall material is an RF friendly material which <br />will be noted in the study as well. Mr. Warsaw said the walls will match the Sprint walls which <br />are currently in place and are a composite type material designed for performance. <br />Mr. Lasko read the list of general criteria for the conditional use permit and all commissioners <br />agreed the findings were in the affirmative as the use will not create adverse impacts. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Malone, to grant a conditional use permit for CMS10- <br />04 Clearwire of 26101 Country Club Blvd with the following conditions: <br />1. Stealth walls are to be extended high enough to conceal all antennae installed. <br />2. Drawings must be submitted with a structural engineer's seal meeting all building <br />department requirements. Information shall be included regarding the stealth wall's <br />height, wind load capacity, material and color. Details shall be submitted regarding how <br />the antenna structures will be installed on the roof including weights, structural <br />computations, dimensions, and other specifications as required. <br />The motion was approved 7-0. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, secondecl by Mr. Cotner, to approve the proposal for CMS10-04 <br />Clearwire of 26101 Country Club Blvd consisting of installing wireless telecommunication <br />antenna and equipment cabinet on an existing structure which was approved 7-0. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Ordinance 2010-10 <br />An Ordinance Creating New Chapter 1155 (Solar Energy Systems) of the North Olmsted Zoning <br />Code in order to permit and establish regulations for the use of Solar Energy Systems in the City <br />of North Olmsted. Note: PDC tabled 1/27/10. <br />Ms. Wenger said based upon prior comments there were changes made to the ordinance. A <br />definition was modified, the height setbaclc was changed to a 1:1 setback to height ratio with a <br />maximum of 15 feet, and sun glare standards were added. <br />Mr. Parry said in his research of solar panels there were varied colors available and suggested the <br />city may want to require the units match the fixed material colors in the future.
