9) Stephen Schultz• 23997 Elm Road_ <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal to erect a shed on a corner lot. <br />Request the following variance(s): <br />1). A 16 square foot variance for lot coverage in excess of the 2% maximum permitted <br />(1135.02 D-1). <br />2). A 10 foot variance to encroach upon abutting lots 50 foot front yard setback <br />• (1135.02 D-5). Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02. D-1 & D-5. <br />Note: Existing shed will be removed. _ <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Schultz. Mr. Gomersall reviewed the variances being requested, and asked if there were any further <br />questions from the board members. Mr. Maloney inquired as to what would be done with the <br />garbage cans that were on the side of the building. Mr. Schultz indicated the garbage cans would be <br />relocated to the back of the building and would not be seen by the neighbors. Mr. Schultz asked Mr. <br />Conway if the workers showed up to do the work Monday morning before City Hall opens, can the <br />contractors start work or do they have to wait until City Hall opens and the permit can be picked <br />up. Mr. Conway indicated Mr. Schultz could let the workers begin as soon as they arrive Monday <br />morning. No further questions were asked. <br />T. Koberna moved to grant Stephen Schultz; 23997 Elm Road, his request for variance (1123.12). <br />Proposal to erect a shed on a corner lot. <br />1). Variances <br />Granted. <br />10) CVS Pharmacy; 23359 Lorain Road: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal for sign package. <br />Request the following variance(s): <br />1). A 94.75 square foot variance for business use signage (1163.11 A); <br />2). A 84.5 square foot variance for business building use signage (1163.11 B); <br />3). A variance to insta114 (four) additional wall signs (1163.12 A); <br />4). A 7 foot 6 inch variance for side property setback, for ground sign #6 <br />(1163.12 B); <br />5). A variance to install an additional ground sign (1163.12 B); <br />6). A 12 square foot variance for wall sign #1 (1163.12 A); and <br />7). A 12 square foot variance for wall sign #2 (1163.12 A). <br />Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.11 (A & B); and 1163.12 (A&B) <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was administered to Mr. <br />Dragon, Mr. Desnoyer, and Mr. Harvey. Mr. Gomersall reviewed the variances being requested, <br />and asked who each gentleman represented. W. Dragon indicated he represented the sign <br />company, Mr. Desnoyer is the owner of building, and Mr. Harvey is the CVS district manager. Mr. <br />Conway indicated the Architectural review board looked at this proposal and they are complying <br />with their requests. However W. Conway indicated he was concerned with the two ground signs <br />5 ?
