Mr.
Murphy came forward to present his proposal. Mr. Gomersall indicated he felt the air conditioning unit should
be put in the back of the home. Other board members voiced that they agreed with Mr. Gomersall. Mr. Murphy
indicated that his neighbor indicated she didn't mind the air conditioning unit being on the side of the house. Mr.
Maloney reviewed that presently there were large bushes in place, but if you got new neighbors they may not like
the noise from the unit. Mr. Koberna inquired as to what the size of the unit would be and what the square
footage of Mr. Murphy's home was. Mr. Murphy indicated that he wasn't sure what the size of the unit was
and that the square footage of his home was over 1900 square feet. Mr. Koberna questioned if tTiere was a
reason why the air conditioning condenser unit was not being placed in the back of the house. Mr. Murphy
indicated that the house was a bye-level home and that because of the location of the utility room as well as the
family room the condenser needed to be placed on the side of his home. The pipes would have to be ran on the
outside of the house along the wall to put the condenser in the back of the house. 1VIr. Murphy further
commented that the pipes running along the outside of his home would be unsightly. Mr. Gomersall reviewed
that an air conditioners condenser is not quit and could not agree to allow it to be placed on the side of the home.
Mr. Kremzar questioned if the home currently had air conditioning. Mr. Murphy indicated that an air
conditioner was placed on the side of his neighbors home which is across from his window and that was O.K..
Mr. Gomersa.ll indicated that Mr. Murphy's neighbor's air conditioner was not germane to his case.
W.
