Mr. Porter indicated that they could not access the back of the property with a <br />car. Mr. Koberna questioned what the use of the building was presently. Mr. Porter indicated who <br />the current tenant was and indicated that there would be a second tenant in the rear of the building. <br />J. Konold motioned to approve Haas Properties of 4858 Dover Center Road their request for <br />variance (1123.12). Which consists of a parking lot, building addition and that the following <br />variances be granted: ` <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building, section (1165.02). <br />1) A 40 foot variance for building side yard setback (north) (code requires 50' applicant shows <br />10'). <br />2) A 10 foot variance for parking lot side yard setback (north) (code requires 20' applicant shows <br />10'). <br />3) A 4 foot variance for parking lot front yard setback (east) (code requires 20' applicant shows <br />16'). <br />This is in violation of Ord. 90-125, section 1139.07 (Table/chart) and 1165.02. The motion was <br />seconded by W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. Variances/Special Permit Granted. <br />10. Econo Lodge Cleveland Airport West; 22989 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a new structure to enclose proposed <br />swimming pool. The following variance is requested; <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building (1165.02) (b) (1). <br />1. A 33 foot variance for front yard setback, (code requires 75' applicant shows 42'), section <br />(1139.07). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, 1165.02 (b) (1) and 1139.07. <br />Chairman, Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Petroski, the architect. Mr. Petroski indicated that the proposal is a closed in <br />pool house. The owner of the motel is trying to improve the appearance and accommodate <br />patrons. The pool house will not hinder the parking lot at all it just needs to be repainted. The <br />Planning Commission had not objections to the proposal. Mr. Maloney indicated that the parking <br />spaces are not currently striped correctly. The board had no objections to the pool house, but they <br />are concerned about the parking. Mr. Rymarczyk indicated that the current plan showed the <br />correct striping, but the striping on the lot currently does not reflect what is in -the drawing. Once <br />the parking lot is re-striped, they will comply with the requirements. <br />J.
