i., • ? <br />? ? <br />5. Judv Condupi: 3107 Clague Rd. <br />Request for variance 1123.12. The proposal consists of adding a patio room. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1.)A variance to enlarge a non-conforming dwelling, (1165.02 b 1). <br />2.)A 3 foot variance for rear yard setback (code requires 50 feet, applicant shows 47 feet), (1135.08 <br />A) <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section 1165.02(b)(1) and 1135.08A. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward to review the request. Judy Condupi, the <br />applicant, and Larry Wagner from Wagner Home Improvement came forward to review the request. <br />Mr. Gomersall questioned where the footers would be located. Mr. Wagner indicated the porch <br />would be raised up and put on the deck and the door level. Mr. Gomersall questioned if the existing <br />deck would be removed and replaced. Mr. Wagner indicated yes; up to the door level. Mr. <br />Kremzar questioned where the footers would be located. Mr. Wagner indicated there would be 4 <br />foot by 4-foot footers from the existing deck. Mr. Kremzar questioned if the posts were sufficient <br />enough for the building department. Mr. Gomersall questioned if footers can be 3-foot. Mr. <br />Rymarczyk indicated 3 foot is enough. Mr. Gomersall questioned if there were any questions from <br />the board or audience members. No further comments were made. _ <br />W. Kremzar motioned to grant Judy Condupi of 3107 Clague Rd the request for variance 1123.12, <br />which consists of adding a patio room and that the following variances be granted: <br />1.) A variance to enlarge a non-conforming dwelling, (1165.02 b 1). <br />2.) A 3 foot variance for rear yard setback (code requires 50 feet, applicant shows 47 feet), <br />(1135.08 A) Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section 1165.02(b)(1) and 1135.08A. The <br />motion was seconded by J. Konold and una.nunously approved. <br />6. Lee Koch; 5947 McKenzie <br />Request for variance 1123.12. The proposal consists of a detached garage. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 450 square foot variance for total floor area of detached garage (code allows 750 square feet, <br />applicant shows 1200 square feet), (1135.02 c 1). <br />2. A 1 foot 2 3/4 inch variance for total height (code requires 15 foot, applicant shows 16 foot 2 <br />3/4 inches), (1135.02 c 1). <br />3. A variance to not have a concrete or bituminous concrete driveway (code requires concrete or <br />paved surface, applicant shows none), (1161.11). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections 1135.020(1) and 1161.11. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward to review the request. Lee and Donna <br />Koch, the applicants and Richard HIaves and John Dubroy, neighbars, came forward to review the <br />request. Mrs. Koch brought forward an unsigned letter from an approving neighbor. Mr. <br />Gomersall indicated he would accept the letter, but since it was not signed it would be useless. Mrs. <br />Koch indicated she understood. Mr. Koch indicated the garage is too old and too close to the house. <br />Mr. Koch indicated he has collector cars that need to be stored. Mr. Koch indicated the Building <br />Inspector who came out indicated they recommended the pitch of the roof be 4/12 pitch bringing the <br />roof up to 16 foot 2 3/4 inches. He indicated the concrete driveway would eventually be put in. Mr. <br />Gomersall questioned how long would it take to put the driveway in. Mr. Koch indicated he needed <br />two years at the most to put in a concrete driveway. Mr. Gomersall indicated only a year would be <br />allowed. Mr. Koch indicated he and his son are working on restoring cars. Mr. Gomersall indicated <br />the lot is very big for a garage, 233 feet from where the proposed garage would be located. Mr. <br />Gomersall questioned if the driveway would go straight back 100 feet and the garage be on a <br />concrete slab. Mr. Koch replied "yes." The neighbors came forward indicating their concerns for <br />how close the garage will be to their abutting properties. Mr. Koch indicated the proposed garage
