Mrs. O'Rourke asked if the building would be enclosed. <br />Mr. Petroski indicated that the pool will be an indoor pool for guests. Mr. Tallon indicated that <br />the board wanted two (2) feet of brick on South and West Side of the building. Mr. Petroski <br />commented that he would use the two-(2) feet of brick as requested. Mr. Conway commented <br />that in regards to parking the current plan does not conform to the Code Mr. Petroski is <br />working on another parking plan for submittal. With the size of the lot it should accommodate <br />the required parking it will just have to be reconfigured. 1VIr. Dale form 3619 W. 230th street <br />would like to see a plan of where pool will be placed. Mr. Petroski reviewed were the pool <br />would be located. No further comments were made. <br />R. Tallon motion to approve Econo Lodge Cleveland Airport West of 22989 Lorain Rd. their <br />proposal which consists of construction of a new building for the housing of a swimming pool. <br />With the following additions; A two (2) foot brick base be placed around the base of the <br />building and that the parking will be brought up to Code.. This approval will be based on <br />whether or not the Board of Zoning Appeals board grants the special pernut to add to a non- <br />conforming building as well as the front setback variance required for the building itself. The <br />motion was seconded by, C. Allan and unanimously approved. Motion Carried. <br />R. Tallon motioned to recommend to the Board of Zoning Appeals that the special pernut to <br />add to a non-conforming building and the variance for the building being in the front setback be <br />granted. Mrs. O'Rourke and unanunously approved. Motion Carried. <br />4. Bennigans Restaurant Bar & Grill; 4824 Crreat NorthernBlvd. <br />Proposal consists of construction of a new Bennigans Restaurant <br />Chairman Tallon called all interested parties forward to review their proposal. Mr. Ames the <br />developer came forward to review the proposal. Mr. Ames indicated that the Bennigans <br />restaurant would be located in the north east corner of the Sears lot. Mr. Tallon questioned if it <br />would be in the northeast parking area of sears. Mr. Ames suggested that the building would be <br />a prototype, which currently there is none in Cleveland, but in Cantori, Mentor and Columbus <br />there are Bennigan's restaurants. Material samples were shown to the board members so they <br />could observe the colors. Mrs. O'Rourke questioned if the awning would be orange. Mr. Ames <br />suggested the orange was only a trim on the awning. Mr. Tallon questioned if there were any <br />parking variances needed. Mr. Conway reviewed that when the Mall expansion came before the <br />Planning Commission this building was identified and was part of the parking variance when it <br />went to the new calculations. This building and another building in the Far Western end were <br />part of the original package. Mr. Tallon questioned if the amount of parking was reduced <br />throughout the mall area and questioned how much more development could take place under <br />the new calculations. Mr. Conway reviewed that the new calculations were 4.5 per <br />1,000square foot of gross leasable area. If there was going to be any more development, it <br />would have to go into the grassy area. Mr. Spalding questioned where the other building would <br />be placed. Mr. Conway indicated that the building would be placed just east of where Tony <br />Romas restaurant was located now. Mr. Ames indicated that the restaurant was an Irish design <br />theme similar to a TGI Fridays. - Mr. Tallon questioned the hours of operation. Mr. Ames <br />6
