Pastor Jenkins
indicated that both the brick and shingles used on the new addition would match the existing
building. The windows used on the addition would also match the existing window material.
Mr. Koeth questioned if there would be additional lighting added. Pastor Jenkins indicated
that he had cuts of the lights that would be used on the building and handed out copies to each
of the board members to review. He suggested that no additional parking lot lights would be
added to the site. Mr. Koeth reviewed what had been asked of the applicants at the last
meeting. Mr.
Demetor, with Prandium Inc. came forward to review the proposal. Mr. Koeth questioned
why the board members did not recieve a color rendering of the proposed building. The clerk
indicated that the applicant only submitted one colored print and she did not have access to a
color copier so the copies had to be black and white. Mr. Koeth questioned if the proposed
colors were the standard colors of all the Chi Chi's buildings. Mr. Demetor indicated that the
entire Chi Chi's will be remodeled and match the proposed colors. Mr. Asseff questioned
which buildings had already been changed. Mr. Demetor suggested he was not from the area
and was not sure of which buildings had been remodeled. Mr. Koeth questioned if there
would be any other changes made to the building besides the front entrance. Mr. Demetor
indicated that the soffits would be removed and a transparent gable would be placed on
existing framing. Mr. Rymarczyk indicated that the applicants would need to go to Board of
Zoning Appeals, as it is a non-conforming building. Mrs. O'Rourke suggested that the red
and blue needed to be toned down. Mr. Koeth questioned why the entry would be painted
blue as that color is nowhere else on the building. Mr. Demetor suggested it was chosen to
draw attention to the entry. Mr. Allan commented that not less then 3 months ago when he
sat on the Architectural Review Board they approved a different color scheme. Mr. Demetor
suggested he was not aware of any other color scheme. The clerk presented the color samples
that had been approved in November of 1999. Mr. Demetor suggested only two colors would
be changed from what was approved. Mr. Allan suggested the present colors were a dramatic
change from what had just been approved.
