indicated that on the photos you could see the EIFS. Mr. Zergott questioned if the
information sheet of the materials to be used had been submitted with manufacturer names and
numbers. The clerk replied "no." Mr. Yager questioned why there is very little brick on the
rear fagade. Mr. Liggett indicated there is a chimney. Mr. Saylor indicated there is very little
stone. Mr. Yager questioned why not make the columns stone to match. Mr. Saylor indicated
it could be stone. He then showed a sample of the existing stone with a yellowish brown color.
Mr. Liggett indicated that the stone would look much better. Mr. Yager questioned how the
canopy runs into the wall and why is it above the coping line to the wall. He indicated the
canopy jogs up about a foot above the coping line making it appear cut-off at that point. Mr.
Yager questioned how far back is the EIFS in this elevation. Mr. Saylor indicated the canopy
carries over the top of the parapet to allow the canopy to drain onto the existing roof. He
indicated the bank also needed the headroom. Mr. Yager questioned where the ATM would
be located. Mr. Saylor indicated the ATM would be moved to the rear of the building. Mr.
Liggett questioned the colors of the ATM and could the colors be changed to match the
existing colors of the ATM. Mr. Cieply indicated the blue is a very deep blue, almost black.
He indicated the colors would be based on the signage. Mr. Yager questioned if there would
be any signage on the canopy. Mr. Cieply indicated there would only be an open and close sign
on the drive through window. Mr. Liggett questioned if there was a way to reverse the colors
so that the blue black top and bottom and the red stripe like the bank sign. He believes the
reversal would be subtler. W. Cieply indicated he would have to talk to the manufacturer
about the dammar since the units are painted at the factory. 1V1r. Liggett requests the coloring
be reversed. W. Yager indicated that the red is going to stand out. W. Saylor questioned if
they are suggesting that the red is at the top and the blue is bottom. Mr. Liggett indicated that
on the banks sign.the red stripe below everything with the blue black across the top and across
the bottom with the red stripe around the middle. He suggested keeping the white band where
it is on the existing ATM. Mr. Cieply indicated he would talk to the manufacturer. W. Yager
indicated he is concerned with the heaviness of the canopy relative to the thickness of the
columns and how far the canopy extends out 4 feet but is flush on the ends with the two
columns. He questioned where the actual roof is and couldn't the coping line remain the same.
W. Saylor indicated the bank wanted one-quarter inch per foot for drainage. Mr. Yager
questioned if it would be a problem with only one-quarter or one-eighth inch per foot. W.
Saylor indicated that the warranty is for one-quarter inch per foot. Mr. Yager indicated if you
have one-quarter or one-eighth, it isn't going to fall into the building. He indicated that the
difference is 4 inches instead of two inches, which is hardly anything and if it is brought down it
would then look better. The coping line would look as if it were there from the beginning. Mr.
Liggett questioned if the columns could be brought in to blend with the stone on the southern
elevation. N1r. Cieply indicated that it is flush with the stone on the southern elevation. W.
Yager indicates it would look more proportionate. W. Yager questioned where the door was
to the ATM. Mr. Saylor indicated it was located on the side. 1V1r. Saylor indicated the
columns could be brought in more. Mr. Yager indicated that since it is an EIFS system, the
framing is metal, so you can still bring your columns up and your beams across and just build
the frame out from that. W. Liggett suggested that if the look of the present canopy with the
stone going underneatli were used, it would keep the same look that the bank presently has.
Mr. Yager indicated the thickness is a good thickness, but the columns would look better. Mr.
Saylor indicated that he is assuming that the roof is relatively flat, so once there is a slope, it
would eventually be above the roof. The drainage is needed, which he believes is a gravel stop
and not a parapet. Mr. Yager indicated Mr. Saylor should explore whether it is a gravel stop
or a parapet. He would like to see the coping line continued down even if it has to be angled
because it would look better instead of snapping off at the face of the wa11. Mr. Yager
questioned the acoustical underside, since there is efface on the front, he suggested continuing
?
2
