• Structure was started, finished or taxed prior to 1900, <br />OB • One of either of the following: <br />• said structure, area or location should have historical associations of <br />significance to North Olmsted, or <br />• said structure should be a good example of a certain style or type of <br />architecture which was common in the Western Reserve. <br />• If said structure has been re-modeled, or restored, it should continue to reflect <br />the original character and style, and/or the essential structure of the original <br />building must be apparent, <br />• The exterior conditions and grounds must be neatly maintained. <br />8.02 Application procedure: <br />An owner will request an application from the City of North Olmsted Landmarks <br />+ Commission. Upon receipt, the owner shall complete the application providing as <br />much documented information as possible. Upon completion, said application <br />and all pertinent information shall be returned to the North Olmsted Landmarks <br />Commission at: North Olmsted City Hall, 5200 Dover Center Road, North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, 44070 <br />8.03 Selection determination: <br />Each year, a small number of eligible buildings which comply with the criteria <br />will be approved for a plaque. The approval of said plaque shall be based upon <br />the thoroughness of the information submitted, conformity to the criteria for <br />plaque eligibility, and the importance of the building in the historic development <br />of North Olmsted. All applications shall be reviewed on an annual basis. <br />Ll
