PLANNING COMMISSION INDEX 2001 <br />April 10, 2001 <br />Charter One Bank: 25290 Lorain Rd. <br />The proposal consists of 683 sq. ft. building addition / renovation, new <br />landscaping, new paving and parlcing revisions. Note: Proposal requires <br />variances. Motion Carried 4/10/01 <br />Wal Mart Store #2316; 24801 Broolcparlc Rd. <br />Proposal consists of adding 6,028 sq. ft. of poly-carbonate canopy to the existing <br />garden center. Motion Carried 4/10/01 <br />Tops Markets; 26666 Broolcparlc Rd. Ext. <br />Proposal consists of removing the existing Ames store (104,330 sq. ft.) for new <br />Tops Marlcet & retail buildings. (77,920 sq. ft.) Motion Carried 4/10/01 <br />AutoZone Development; 28535 Lorain Rd. <br />The proposal consists of constructing a 6,094 square foot building and site <br />improvements for the retail sale of auto parts. Planning Commission referred this <br />proposal 3/13/01 with the following comments 1) There needs to be a light (wall <br />washer) over the rear exit door to illuminate the sidewallc. 2) The light poles in <br />the parlcing lot be an overall height of no more than 20 feet and the bulbs be <br />brought down to 250 watts instead of the proposed 400 watts. 3) Include photo- <br />metrics to show light flow. 4) Board would like feedbaclc about what the <br />Architectural Review Board thinks about mounding and evergreen trees to protect <br />residential homes from the AutoZone lights. Note: Architectural Review Board <br />reviewed this proposal4/4/O1. Tabled 4/10/01 <br />Ordinance No. 2001-47 <br />An ordinance providing for the amendment of the zone map of the City of North <br />Olmsted by zoning the hereinafter described parcel of real property located on the <br />south side of Cook Road and east of Bronson Road, formerly within Olmsted <br />Township, to single family cluster district. 1VIotion Carried 4/10/01 <br />Apri124, 2001 <br />Lorain Point Building,ti 24693 Lorain Rd. <br />The proposal consists of an addition to existing office building. Note: 1) This <br />proposal is pending lot consolidation. 2) Planning Commission referred this <br />proposal to the Board of Zoning Appeals on 3/13/01, but due to major changes <br />this proposal is returning for further review. Motion Carried 4/24/01 <br />Fieldstone Development; S/L 11 Industrial Pkvw. <br />The proposal consists of a multi-phase, multi-tenant office warehouse facility to <br />match the current facility on the adjoining lot. Note: Planning Commission <br />referred this proposal to the Board of Zoning Appeals with a favorable <br />recommendation. Board of Zoning Appeals granted the variances requested on <br />4/5/01.
