1"'v <br />the day-care is located would not be part of their lease. Mr. CJallager <br />questioned how the day-care centers playground would be protected from the <br />trucks making deliveries. Mr. Crook indicated that they could place a 6 foot <br />fence up with landscaping to make sure there is a buffer between the two sites. <br />Mrs. Powell suggested that she has been trying to work with the mayor's office <br />regarding the site and drainage there has been some progress but very ininimal. <br />It was found that soine of the trucks were not delivering to the site but just <br />parking on the lot. Signs have been posted and trucks are still parking on the <br />site. The cleaning of the parking lot is not to start until 8am in the morning. <br />She would really Iike to see the store entrance to face Brookpark Road as the <br />entrance on the east side of the site increased the noise. There is only 30 feet <br />from the parking lot and her bedrooms and the noise level is very high. Please <br />look at the noise ordinances and try to respect them. She is also concerned <br />about the tra.ific that will increase from this. There is also a lot of garbage and <br />trash that no one wants to take responsibility for as everyone tries to say it is <br />someone else's problem. Mr. Hullinger questioned what the deliveiy times <br />would be and voiced a concern about the lights that would be placed on the <br />lot. Mr. Sheniceiz indicated that they will uphold the delivery rules of the City <br />of North Olmsted. He can not guarantee that there will never be a delivery <br />. inade on an off time. No one could give that guarantee. Mr. Dubelko <br />commented that he would like to point out that the City of North Olmsted does <br />have restrictions on deliveries. There can not be deliveries made between <br />9:00pm and 7:00am. It is not that we don't have restrictions, it has just been <br />hard to enforce them. That is why it is best not to have the delivery area on <br />the north side of the building. Mr. Sheniceiz indicated that they would like to <br />go back to the drawing board and address the concerns that have been brought <br />forward tonight. There are soine financial restraints but they will do the best <br />they can. He suggested that he would also like to meet with the residents and <br />the owners before they return to make sure that the next submittal can move <br />forward. Tt is good to see that the neighbors are interested in what is being <br />done. Mr. Hreha complemented Mr. Sheniceiz for being open to worlcing with <br />the residents and would like to see it continue. As there is going to be a new <br />building there should be maximum flexibility. Mr. Sheniceiz indicated that they <br />vvould work on the plans and return in a couple of weeks. Mr. Tallon <br />suggested that the wall behind Wal-Mart should be ]ooked at for an idea of <br />what the board is requesting. The inajor points have been brought to your <br />attention to ]ook at; the docks, shielded lighting, drainage and the grass area on <br />the north side of the building. Regarding drainage the applicants will have to <br />meet the requirements set fourth in the Cities codes. The City of Noi-th <br />Olmsted prefers to see underground retention systems. An unknown resident <br />questioned if the applicants would have to do a traffic study to obtain a trafFic <br />Iight. Mr. Tallon indicated that they would have to do a study to show they <br />meet the state requirements. Mr. Tallon reviewed that the City of North <br />Olmsted does not govern where lights are placed the state does. Mr. Tallon <br />indicated that they would table the proposal until the applicant was ready to <br />return. Mr. Conway questioned when the applicants would like to return. Mr. <br />Sheniceiz indicated that they would like to leave a date of return open so they <br />could meet with the neighbors before returning. Mr. Tallon indicated that the <br />board would like to see the developer meet with the neighbors before they <br />6
