The motion was seconded by J. <br />Konold. Roll call on the motion; N. Sergi, and J. Konold "yes", T. Kelly, W. Kremzar and J. <br />Maloney "no", Variance Denied. <br />The applicant requested the board reconsider the rejection as his yard is 635 feet deep and the <br />width in the rear is 82 feet. He has 1.92 acres of Iand and none af his neighbors object to the size <br />of shed he has requested. Mr. O'Malley explained what would need to take place if the board <br />wanted to reconsider the motion. <br />J. Maloney motioned to reconsider Emil Morad Jr. request. The motion was seconded by J. <br />Konold. Roll call on the motion; T. Kelly "no", N. Sergi, J. Konold, W. Kremzar and J. Maloney <br />"yes". Motion to reconsider approved. <br />N. Sergi motioned to grant Emil M. Morad, Jr. of 5536 Columbia Road his request for variance <br />(1123.12), which consists of erecting a shed and that the following variance is granted: <br />1. Maloney and Mr. Kremzar commented that the only <br />reason they reconsidered their votes is due to the fact that the applicants land is 1.92 acres. Mr. <br />Kelly remarked that his concern is that there is already a green hause on the site. <br />4. - William & Ann Scullin; 4108 Brendan Lane: (WRD 4) <br />Request for va.riance (1123.12). The proposal consists of erecting a fence. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 45 foot variance for erecting a fence within neighbors front setback on a corner lot (code <br />requires 50 feet, applicant shows 5 feet), section (1135.02 (fl(1)). <br />2. A 30 inch variance for a fence higher than 30 inches in a neighbors front setback on a corner <br />lot (code pernuts 30applicant shows 60"), section (1135,02 (f)(1)). <br />3. A variance for a fence less than 500/o open in a neighbors front setback an a corner lot (code <br />permits 50% open, applicant shows less than 50% open), section (1135.02 (fl(1)). <br />Note: Fence will replace tall hedges which were too much for homeowner to maintain and have <br />been removed. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (fl(1)). <br />Chaitman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review their request. Mr. & Mrs. <br />Scullin came farward to be sworn in and address their request. Mr. Scullin indicated that they <br />would like to erect a£ence on their property to replace the 6-foot high bushes that were removed <br />_ and far privacy. At one point they had bushes that were 6-feet ta11 however they were removed <br />because it became to hard for Mr. Scullin to maintain. Mr. Maloney questioned how far iiack the <br />fence would run. Mr. Scullin indicated that the fence would run 5-feet in from the sidewalk to the <br />back property until it meets up with the existing fence. Mrs. Sergi questioned what type of fence <br />would be erected. Mr. Scullin remarked that the fence style would be a shadow box style. Mr. <br />Maloney commented that Mr. & Mrs. Scullin submitted a letter signed by S of their neighbars <br />indicating they had no objection to the Scullins variance request. Mrs. Sergi questioned if the <br />sidewalk was block by the bushes that were removed, as she is concemed for the safety of <br />cluldren not being seen by ca.rs coming from the rear neighbors driveway.
