<br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 7-foot candle variance for maximum illumination levels (code permits 4 ft. candles, applicant <br />shows 11 ft. candles), section (1161.12 (c)). <br />2. A 175 foot variance for distance of pole to north property line (code requires 180 ft., applicant <br />shows 5 ft.), section (1161.12 (e)). <br />3. A 129 foot variance for distance of poles to east property line (code requires 180 ft., applicant <br />shows 51 ft.), section (1161.12 (e)). <br />4. A 92 foot variance for distance of poles to south property line (code requires 180 ft., applicant <br />shows 88 ft.), section (1161.12 (e)). <br />5. A 99 foot variance for distance of pole to west property line (code requires 180 ft., applicant <br />shows 81 ft.), section (1161.12 (e)). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1161.12 (c)), and (1161.12 (e)). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review their request. Mr. Saleet the <br />architect came forward to be sworn in and address the request. Mr. Saleet reviewed that they would <br />like to have lights at 30 feet high to match the exiting lights in the area. Planning Commission request <br />that they have the 30-foot light poles to match the existing neighbors. They will have 6 double shoe box <br />lights. Four variances are needed due to the placement of the lights. They are trying to reach the <br />minimum at the lot line but it is a little over. They have reduced the glare and there will be cutoffs on <br />the lights as required. Mr. Dubelko commented that he had discussed the request with Mr. O'Malley <br />who has been involved with the applicants. He voiced that the applicants are trying to do the best they <br />could to comply to the code and satisfy the city. <br />N. Sergi motion to approve Remington College of 26350 Great Northern 5hopping Center their <br />request for variance (1123.12) which consists of parking lot lighting and that the following <br />variances are granted: <br />1.
