x.20% Proposed shed = 129 sq, <br />4404 sq' of accessory structures permitted 225 sq' = 4116 sq' left <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. & Mrs. Gribble <br />each came forward to be sworn in and review the request. They would like to have a second <br />storage shed for lawn equipment and their children's toys. They have a large yard just under an <br />acre and cover the equipment with a tarp now but would like to get it out of the weather. The <br />board asked if they spoke to their neighbors. The stated that they spoke to each of their abutting <br />neighbors and they had no objections. <br />T. Kelly moved to grant John Gribble of 28112 Andorra Drive his request for variance <br />(1123.12), vvhich consists of a new shed and that the following variance is granted: <br />1. A varaance for a second shed on a residential lot, (code permits 1 and applicant shows 2). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (D) (1)). N. Sergi seconded the motion, <br />vvhich was unanimously approved. <br />4. Bettv Russo, 23906 Lorain Road, (WRD 3) <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of an extension to keep an abandoned pole <br />sign to remain on the property. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A variance for a non-conforming abandoned pole sign to remain on the property, (code does not <br />permit, applicant shows 1). <br />Which is in violation of 90-125, Section (1163.15). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. No representative <br />came forward nor was the owner present. Therefore, the request could not be addressed. <br />J. Maloney moved to table Betty Russo of 23906 Lorain Road until meeting next. W. <br />Kremzar seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />Mr. O'Malley suggested the board have the clerk send a letter to the applicant informing her that <br />as she was not present her request was tabled and it is mandatory to have someone present at the <br />meeting to present her request. <br />5. Rosati's Custard; 26261 Lorain 12oad: (WRl) 4) <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of installing an exterior cooler on the <br />building with a fence enclosure. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building (1165.02). <br />l. A 42 foot variance for rear yard setback, (code requires 50', applicant shows 8'), section <br />(1139.08 (g)). <br />2. An 8 foot 8 inch variance for side yard setback, (code requires 10', applicant shows 8' 8"), <br />section (1139.07 table). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections, (1165.02), (1139.08 (g)), and (1139.07 table). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Kajko, with H S <br />B Architects and Mr. Priscak, with Rosati's each came forward to be sworn in and review the <br />request. The applicants indicated that the building will not accommodate the cooler and due to the <br />setbacks any worlc to the building requires not only variances but a special permit as well. They <br />believe the building itself is the hardship. Mr. O'Malley reviewed the situation of the building and <br />its existence. He advised that the new business owner is trying to install a cooler required for his <br />5
