5. Nancv Washko, 5817 Stearms, WRD 3 <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of expanding gravel driveway. <br />The following variance is requested. <br />1. A variance for temporarily expanding a driveway with stone and gravel, (code does not <br />permit 0, applicant shows 308 sq ft). <br />Note: Temporary expansion is due to the eventual widening of Sterns Road. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1161.11 A). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to be sworn in and review the <br />request. Ms. Washko the owner came forward to be sworn in and address the board. The <br />applicant indicated that she was granted a permit for the gravel and cement and then while <br />the work was in progress the permit was stopped and they were told they required a permit. <br />The area that will be gravel is the apron as the following year the county will be removing <br />30 feet of her front yard and she does not want to pay to place cement and then next year it <br />would be dug up. The board indicated that they would set a time limit to December of 2006. <br />N. Sergi moved to grant Nancy Washko of 5817 Stearns Road her request for variance <br />(1123.12), which consists of egpanding gravel driveway and that the following variance <br />is granted as amended: A variance for temporarily egpanding a driveway with stone <br />and gravel, (code does not permit 0, applicant shows 308 sq ft), which is good through <br />December 2006. Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1161.11 A). J. Maloney <br />seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. <br />6. Leonard Miller, 24754 Kennedv Ridge Road, WRD 4 <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of an addition to house. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />l. A 1 foot variance for total minimum side yard setback with attached garage. <br />(code permits 15', applicant shows 14'). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.07A). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to be sworn in and review the <br />request. Mr. & Nli-s. Miller, the owners, Mr. & Mrs. Webber, neighbors and Councilman <br />McKay each came forward to be sworn in and address the request. Mr. Miller indicated that <br />the area being bumped out is to give them more room in the dinning room. The neighboring <br />home is set back 40 feet and it would not be noticeable. Mr. & Mrs. Webber voiced that <br />they were in favor of the improvement and voiced that the applicants were improving the <br />area. <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Leonard Miller of 24754 Kennedy Ridge Road his request <br />for variance (1123.12), which consists of an addition to his house and that the following <br />variance is granted: A 1 foot variance for total minimum side yard setback with <br />attached garage, (code permits 15', applicant shows 141). Which is in violation of Ord. <br />90-125 section (1135.07A). T. Kelley seconded the motion which was unanimously <br />approved. <br />7. Eileen Murphv, 4773 Georgette Road, WRD 4 <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of an as-built shed. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A 36 square foot variance for a shed installed in rear yard which exceeds 2% lot <br />coverage, (code permits 84 sq. ft., applicant shows 120 sq. ft.). <br />4
