A 2 foot variance for a shed too close to a side yard property line, (code requires 5', <br />applicant shows 3'), section (1135.02 D2). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 (D1) &(DZ)). <br />Note: Rear yard = 71'x 70' = 4970 <br />X.02% <br />99.4 allowed <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to be sworn in and, review the <br />request. Ms. Mustafa the owner and Mr. Baskin, a neighbor each came forward to be sworn <br />in and address the proposal. Mr. Baskin reviewed that the rear neighbors would not see the <br />shed. The board voiced that the engineering department submitted a letter regarding the <br />easements on the sides and rear of the land. Mr. Baskin indicated that the owners have a <br />large family and need to store things. The board voiced thought the shed should be smaller. <br />Ms. Mustafa voiced that they would put gutters to drain the water but they need to store <br />garage equipment. She indicated that air conditioner was put in the attic and now <br />everything is in the garage and can not go back in the attic. They now need storage ar;,a to <br />keep items secured. The board voiced that they would prefer a 12 x 12 shed. Mr. Maloney <br />reviewed a letter from neighbor voicing that the shed is quite large. The neighbor in his <br />letter voiced that there is drainage problems and this would increase the problem. The <br />neighbor would like to see the shed placed on the other side of the lot. The board reviewed <br />that the shed is to be placed to code and then agree to a 12 x 12 shed to which would need a <br />45 square foot variance. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant Muna Mustafa.of 6167 Park Ridge Drive her request for <br />variance (1123.12), which consists of erecting a shed and that the following variance as <br />amended is granted: A 45 square foot variance for a 12 x 12 shed which is to be placed <br />5 feet off the side yard line and 10 feet off the rear property line. (cocie permits 99 sq. <br />ft., applicant shows 144 sq. ft). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 <br />(D1). W. Kremzar seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />10. Baldo & Jennifer Camnana; 5819 Barton Road: WRD 3 <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of installing a fence. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 50 foot variance for a fence within neighbors 50 foot front yard setback on a corner <br />lot, (code permits 0, applicant shows 50', section (1135.02 172). <br />2. A 42 inr,h variance for a fence in 50 foot front yard setback higher than code allows, <br />(code permits 30", applicant shows 72"), section (1135.02 Fl). <br />3. A variance for a fence less than 50% open in a 50 foot:front setback, (code requires 50% <br />open, applicant shows solid), section (1135.02 F1). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 (F1) &(F2)). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to be sworn in and review the <br />request. Mr. & Mrs. Campana the owners each came forward to be sworn in and address the <br />request. The applicants are very concerned for the safety of their children and dog. The <br />amount of traffic is dangerous. The board voiced that they witnessed the high volume of <br />traffic and agreed for safety reasons a fence was needed. <br />N. Sergi moved to grant Baldo & Jennifer Campana of 5819 Barton Road their request <br />for variance (1123.12), which consists of installing a fence and that the following <br />variances are granted: <br />1. A 50 faot variance for a fence within neighbors 50 foot front yard setback on a <br />corner lot, (code permits 0, applicant shows 50', section (1135.02 F2). <br />6
