The proposal consists of erecting a new garage. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A 3 foot variance for a detached garage higher than code permits, (code permits 15 ft., and <br />applicant shows 18 ft.) <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (C1)). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to be sworn in and review the request. Mr. <br />Hauer the owner came forward to be sworn in and review the request. The applicant voiced that <br />when he purchased the home he received a letter indicating he must build a garage. At the time he <br />was not in a position to do so and was granted an extension now that he is in a position to build the <br />garage he would like to have it 3-feet taller than code allows. He has no attic for storage in the home <br />so he would like to build a storage area above the garage. He will have steps from inside the garage <br />to access the storage area. The new garage will be placed in the same footprint the old garage sat. <br />T. A 250 square foot variance for a detached garage larger than code permits, (code permits 750 sq. <br />ft. and applicant shows 1000 sq. ft.), section (1135.02 (C1)). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1165.02) and (1135.02 (C1)). <br />Note: 91. Kremzar motion to grant Daniel Gibbons of 24742 Gessner Road his request for variance <br />(1123.12), which consists of an addition to garage and the following variances are granted as <br />amended: A special permit to add to a non-conforming building (1165.02). <br />1. A 50 square foot variance for a detaehed garage larger than code permits, (code permits 750 <br />sq. ft. and applicant shows 800 sq. ft.). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1165.02) and (1135.02 (Cl)).
