The proposal consists of erecting a new storage shed. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 57 square foot variance for a storage shed larger than the.rear yard permits, (code permits 183 <br />sq. ft., and applicant shows 240 sq. ft.), section (1135.02 (D1)). <br />2. A 40 square foot variance for a shed larger than code pernuts, (code pernuts 200 sq. ft. and <br />applicant shows 240 sq. ft.), section (1135.02 (D1)). <br />3. A 1 foot variance for side yard setback, shed to close to side property line, (code requires 5 ft. <br />and applicant shows 4 ft.), section (1135.02 (D4)). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 (D1)), (1135.02 (D4)). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to be sworn in and review the request. Mr. <br />Novak the owner, Ms. Dill, and Mr. Wozniak, neighbors each came forward to be sworn in and <br />review the request. The applicant would like to replace the existing shed with a larger 12' x 20' shed. <br />The shed will have downspouts and tie into the drain tiles that were placed in the yard and will drain <br />to the front storm sewer. The size of shed is needed to store outside toys, and yard tools. Ms. Dill <br />voiced a concern about the drainage from the applicant's yard. The applicant reviewed that he has <br />worked with the city and just completed a drainage system for the rear of his yard which the shed <br />will drain into. Mr. Novak voiced that he had no objections as long as it drained properly. Board <br />members felt that the shed should meet the side yard requirement of 5-feet. The applicant agreed to <br />place the shed 5-feet from side yard and indicated that he would also be fixing the existing shed <br />which is currently leaning. Applicant withdrew his request for 1-foot variance for side yard. <br />W. Kremzar motion to grant T.J. The proposal consists of new signage. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 4.2 square foot variance for a wall sign larger than code permits, (code permits 53 sq. ft. and <br />applicant shows 57.2 sq. ft.), section (1163.24 (c)). <br />2. A 387.85 square foot variance for total signage on a building, (code permits 353 sq. ft. and <br />applicant shows 740.85), section (1163.24 (B)), (see note 4 1). <br />3.
